I recently bought a JVC GY-HD110, it has a firewire port, but when I try to capture video with Premiere Pro Cs6, the computer not reconigzed the JVC. I use a laptop with Windows 7 64 bit. How can I capture video? Do I have to install a plugin for this?

I'll appreciate your help a lot.

  • How to record my videos from my DSLR camera to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 when it does not give me the option?

I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and I shoot my videos with a digital SLR camera.  But when I go in the sequence settings, it doesn't give me the option of DSLR.  Is there another setting that will work?  Someone please help!

Different DSLR have different outputs for the size of the image, frequency of frames, progressive or interlaced... what you need to do in CS6, is create a preset for the output of your camera, setting the pace (23.976, 25, 29.97 or what tempo you're shooting to), - size of 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720 image, no matter what you shoot and for progressive or interlaced Once again, what you shoot at. Then you can just select in the list each time.

  • How to capture video from my tuner to go to Movie Maker

Original title: Windows Movie Maker on Vista: "capture video from Device.

I'm trying to convert my VHS videos in files that I can store on the hard drive of my PC.  I have my VCR connected to my TV Tuner from Dell, which is connected to the USB port on my Dell.

Supposedly, I should be able to capture video VHS with Windows Movie Maker.

However, why the Windows Movie Maker (version 6) on Vista doesn't have a "vidéo Capture Device" option in the file Menu?

Use the program youre using this tuner. Change to whatever you have plugged in (perhaps S-video or something). Video capture of Movie makers is usually for FireWire cameras / maybe USB. But not a USB tuner

  • Satellite A200: How to capture video from your camcorder

I bought a JVC GR-D50EK camcorder, about 4 years ago. So far I have never tried capture video on the computer, but I need to do now and I can't seem to do. I have a Toshiba Sat A200 which I bought 2 weeks ago and I tried to use Ulead DVD MovieFactory and Windows MovieMaker.

ImageMixer that came with the camcorder doesn't seem to work either. I downloaded the update to version 1.1. I don't know where to start looking for the answer.

The software for the camcorder has installed successfully, and when I plug it into the PC via USB, it seems to be seen very well in the Device Manager. It's just when I try to use any of the software it seems to be seen.

It appears under imaging devices in Device Manager, but when I go to scanners and cameras, it does not appear

It should be done very easily. It is important that your cam is recognized by the system and shown in Ulead DVD MovieFactory. Use the save option and at the same time press PLAY on the camcorder. You should be able to see the film in DVD MovieFactory window.

If works well with my Sony camcorder. In my case I have firewire connection on my laptop.

  • How can I capture video on a dvd disk in Adobe Premiere Pro Cs5?

Hello! I'm an amateur, I'm trying to restore a video on a vhs tape in first Pro Cs5.  I have Pinnacle Studio 14 Pro, Moviebox Plus USB hardware, Sony dvd player software and a Panasonic VCR.  I have captured vhs for Pinnacle Studio 14 Pro video and burned on a dvd.  I connected the Moviebox Plus to my computer via usb and connected at the entrance and exit for my Sony dvd player.  I opened the first Pro Cs5 and went to the file and clicked on the capture.  I push the game on dvd player and nothing happened in the capture window.   I noticed at the top of the window to capture were some info.  The news said: "the Capture device is in offline mode.   I went in first Pro Cs5 to edit and preferences.  I changed the brand of the Sony device and the Type of device to the standard.   So far, nothing has been captured.   I would like to know how I can solve this problem.  I know it's a lot of information, but it's the only way to assert my setup and what has been done.   Thank you.

The simple way is with the DVD in the optical drive of your computer, use Explorer to navigate to the Video_ts folder and you'll find the VOB file

If you do not see the file extension highlight the folder and right click, select properties and in the Tools menu select options records then view uncheck Hide extensions of known file types.

Then you will see the. VOB file extensions.

Copy the large VOB on your hard drive then click on it and select Rename.

Rename it. VOB to .mpg and use this file.

There are some freeware VOB2MPG who does the same work but more easy.

It there is no option to change the radius of (CRA) corner of the rounded rectangle and no other way that I never discovered in the Titler, to make a decent shape for her.

  • Why can't I capture video from the device under windows 8?

I have tried a myriad of programs to capture video from my Hauppauge wintv-hvr 950 on my computer windows laptop 8. No program does seem to work so I went back to the proven windows movie maker 2.6, except for a device capture option is is no longer there. Does anyone know how I could fix this problem?

You have the latest drivers/software installed (from 10/06/2013)?
    http://www.Hauppauge.com/site/support/support_hvr950.html

Yes, I just did, but the import of video in movie maker 2.6 options still don't understand, "Capture device".

Well, first of all – Windows Movie Maker 2.6 is for Windows Vista.  If you managed to make it work on Windows 8 - which is not supported by anyone and if you use Windows Vista: wrong forum.  ;-)

Second - if you're running Windows 8 (as indicated by your line of topic and forums that you have chosen to display in)-indeed the next question would be: did you add the Pack Windows 8 Media Center to what you run, Windows 8 Pro?

Followed by: have you contacted Hauppauge support?

Their own web page to buy the card does not list Windows 8 as an operating system supported:
    http://www.Hauppauge.com/site/support/support_hvr950.html

"What operating systems are supported by the WinTV-HVR-950?

    • Microsoft Windows 7-32 and 64 bit
    • Windows Vista (all versions), 32-bit and 64-bit
    • Windows® XP, XP Pro, or Windows XP Media Center Edition with Service Pack 2 (or higher)
    • Mac OSX (with the Elgato EyeTV software)"

And finally - what are your system specs?

    • 2.2 1.8 GHz Centrino GHz P4 or equivalent (minimum).
    • 2.8 CPU clocked at GHz for analog TV recording with MPEG-2 (minimum).
    • Adapter with 64 MB of RAM (minimum) graphic display.
    • Sound card or system.
    • USB 2.0 port (will not work with USB 1.1).
    • CD-ROM drive (for software installation)

Is this a new system provided with Windows 8, an old system you upgraded with Windows 8, or what?

The menu shows library of pictures but none iMovie content, even if pictures has the video and still images,

I see no photos to export to iMovie either.

The only idea I can think of is to drag images of Photos on the desktop and then import it into iMovie.

Surely, there must be a better way?

You can simply cut the video and press the sign at the bottom right there will be the drop on the line or you can drag and drop where you want to on the timeline... hope this helps.

    1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

    2. what version of Movie maker are you using?

I suggest that you copy the video from the CD on the hard drive of the computer and then import it to create DVDs. Browse the CD and locate the video, copy it to your disk (computer) hard, and then try to import.

  • How to download videos from the internet

    original title: video download

How can I download videos from internet? I have windows 7 pro and internet explorer 9. Help, please! Thank you!

    Hi, Jane,.

If you download a program or file from internet, you will need to click on the "Download" button or link that appears on your computer screen. A download box may appear on your screen asking if you want to run the program from the current location or save the program.

Choose the option "Save". This will allow you to register the program so that you can use it later once the download is complete. Be careful on the file name, it was saved as and the folder in which it is located. If you do not get a pop box asking you these options, don't worry because some internet browsers save the download automatically.

Click on the program. If you are ready to access the software or program that you have installed on your computer, click Run and the downloaded program should open for you. Many downloaded software will make a shortcut icon on your desktop so that you will have easy access to the program later.
