  I have not been able to access all of the properties of the content of a book like the book State, but I can get the "full name" of each one, the content of the book.   go to the file e/s palette and then the advanced palette which is a search palletteand sub getfilesize.vi... but this function gives the result in bytes...

  Suggest to use the file.tell () method ==> which returns "-1" If the current position cannot be found.

  If the file is open, it returns the number > = 0.
