Windows recently told me that my copy of Windows is not genuine. I got this copy for a little over a year and a half now with the problems. So I bought another key and any of the other options seem to be working. This includes: Enter system properties and then clicking on the 'change product key' (option is not there), the use of slmgr.vbs in command prompt (command not recognized) and using "activate windows" (does not open). Hello
I want to know how I can reuse a product key from an old pre installed windows 7 on a laptop computer, to install on a desktop computer.
The laptop has more the partition with windows pre-installed and the brand does not a backup media to restore it, the laptop has the sticker with the product key, but when I try to download an iso and check everything first button it says the key is invalid.
Is there a way to retrieve it and use it on another computer?
I can prove that everything is legal
