  first of all, I hope you did just product recovery disc in case you want to load the original image, once you do a clean installation, the option has disappeared. 2 update does not offer CSS or RnR so you will have to do it manually. 3.   For technical purposes, I recommend you only keep utilities all programs that you install on the startup disk. This is recommended if you plan to upgrade to future releases of Windows such as Windows 8 because you will experience problems with the installation program.

  This is an option that you can use.

  Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the activation code on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

  I selected CUSTOM

  I saw, I had two partitions:

  Disk 0 Partition 1: Win_RE

  Disk 0 Partition 2: CDrive (c :))

  I couldn't find an option to delete my partitions and perform a new installation.

  I ran this and finished installing fine but did not format my drive and it change named my windows to windows.old. Things seem to be ok on my PC, now that I've done this, and I don't take BSoD right now.

  However, I was told that I should be able to achieve a COMPLETE clean install delete partitions to force the OS to reformat and recreate the C: partition.

  The menu:

  I could not click on an option to delete/reformat my partitions and thus abandoned the process.

  Could be that the dvd from the drive laser is not reading. The player uses different lasers for cd and dvd, which would explain the cd Boot tool. Have you tried the drive then with XP to see if it can read a movie or a similar dvd?
