  I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing! I added a close button for a Flash Player 8 file that runs in a browser window. When the user clicks the close button I want to close the browser window. The code on my button I tried is:

  and

  Any of these will close a Safari or Firefox window, but it works in Internet Explorer. Am I missing something?

  Try this action in the buttom:

  The pop up with flash will open the site in the window of the door, and then close it self.

  This works fine in IE and Firefox.

  You can create another not executable call.  The file path is TASKKILL and arguments are "/F /IM cmd.exe/t.  This will close all open windows cmd.

  If you don't like the new look of Firefox 4, then you can change some settings to restore the appearance of Firefox 3.

  If I understand the question you add a node to call at the end of your application to exit. As it runs as a stand-alone application or in LabVIEW there will be out or stop the execution. I have attached the VI that I use in my applications.

• How can I unintstall Firefox 7 and return to 6?

  I downloaded Firefox 7 because it says to upgrade. Well and good, but now my Norton Security Safe (Norton Toolbar) that has all of my passwords is more work. How can I get that back?   You must have Firefox 7.0 before making the Norton Live Update or you will not get the necessary updates for Firefox 7.0. I'm not sure what Norton recommends now, but when Firefox 5.0 and 6.0 have been released and users of Norton to update Norton before they installed the updated version Norton IIRC said to reinstall all of the Norton Security program after the new update of Firefox has been installed to solve problems related to their application.

  If you are serious about getting rid of Norton, take a look at Avira Personal free - there is no need to install any type of Firefox Add-on which IMO is what causes all these problems during updates of Firefox.

  I would like to create a simple fast forward and return quick button. I get sporadic results with the rewind button. I love the playhead for 3 seconds (72 images) both when the user press the fast forward or rewind button. They should be able to hit two buttons repeatedly.   One thing, that you must take care, is that you should not nest functions named within other functions.  Remove this function ff72 by itself.

  The currentFrame property is a read-only property, but you try to change its value using code in this line...

  this.gotoAndPlay this.currentFrame += (72);

  So change that line to be

  gotoAndPlay (currentFrame + 72);

  noticing that I took out "this" references as well.  They are most often useless in AS3 scenarios.

  You cannot delete because the Java Applet should run, but you can force it to reduce to the task bar by putting the following in your formsweb.cfg file:

• How do you start each chapter and subheading title on separate in CS5.5 pages?

  Hello. I have a document that I am doing in an epub for iPad. I want each chapter and subheading figurentsur title it's own separate page and be visible in the Table of contents.

  It consists of about 20 chapters each with about 10 secondary topics. At the present time, I have each chapter and subheading on a separate page in InDesign, each in their own text box. In the Table of contents style I gave the title of the chapter level 1 "row" and the subheading level 2 "rank."

  When I exported to the menu in the epub content I ticked the box "Document break the paragraph Style" and selected the style of subheading I did. I then exported the epub and tested. The Table of contents is superb. I have every title of chapter listed and slightly behind and I have each of the subheadings below him. By reading the epub each subheading start on its own page, however each chapter title begins on the same page as the heading preceding. In an attempt to put an end to the last page of each subheading I added a jump to page by typing Ctrl + Enter number but has not made a difference.

  I have therefore each subheading rely on its own page, how can I also get the title of chapter to start on its own page?

  Unfortunately the EPUB export dialog box only allows you to define a paragraph for an auto-pause style. It was a feature request that you should be able to specify more than one.

  But I think it should work, but maybe a bit of work:

  1. you need to break your single file in files separated by chapter and create a book file to turn them into a book.

  2. in the first chapter, create a table of contents style and set the title of the chapter of level 1 and probably the head of the Section of level 2

  3. in your book file, make sure that Chapter 1 is the Source of the Style (which is where the style of table of contents)

  4. export EPUB from the book file. Under the tab content of the export dialog box, check use InDesign TOC Style and choose the style that you created. Check the paper break the paragraph Style and then Section Chief.

  It worked for me to start each chapter title on a separate page and each head of Section on a separate page.

• Not able to minimize, maximize, close the browser window

  On a Vista PC, I am able to close all windows by clicking the Red Cross at the top of the window except Google Chrome browser.  Can I close chrome by clicking on its button in the taskbar or by selecting exit from the menu, but the three buttons at the top right are visible but not clickable.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome.

  OK, thanks for all your help and ideas. Finally, I gave up running JavaScript, instead, I created another dynamic action that closes the dialog box with a later sequence (for example, it runs after the PL/SQL code).  Now, it closes the windows properly after running pl/sql clause.  Although I still wonder how to run JavaScript because it doesn't do anything, even when I create a process to run javascript directly.
