  There is no option available for saving file as its by design you will need to manually delete the backups to free up space.

Used without problems and from time to time sure files get backed up via terminal or just check recent journal using Time machine buddy widget. Today, I noticed that TC has removed the older backup that I did on July 3, 2015. It is, I still 1.6 free to on this drive and I really prefer that it be completed before deleting files.

  Y at - it a command Terminal to force TC no do not delete files please? I can manually remove my backups if necessary, but I want to check everything first and then decide.

  By default it should keep filling the TC until the freespace is exhausted.

  There is nothing I know of that stop the works of way TM.

  However the sparsebundle can reach a fixed size and then not continue to develop on demand... So the early history are deleted.

  See Pondini on how to access the sparsebundle to the sizing. Looks like you already use his info... See here the A8.

  Try to increase the size of the sparsebundle... This will then allow TM more space... leave about 400 GB free on the TC... for the effectiveness of the backups that you still need a lot of freespace.

  TM is less reliable versions light up.

  I highly recommend people to get Carbon Copy Cloner... or Chronosync... you will not get the same story as with the TM, but backups are solid.

  MoBo that takes in charge the Core i5 with 4 GB RAM processor

  I have currently a Diamond ATI Theater 750 USB, the Pentium D system tuner sees, but the tuner doesn't seem to find all channels when connected (cable box or directly).  This isn't a XP Media Center System. I am willing to consider other processors (especially other Intel Core Family).  Any help in making it useful for PVR functionality is greatly appreciated.

  If you want to upgrade to Windows 7, a custom installation is required and you will need to reinstall the software tuner. Since this is older software, you might want to stick with the one provided with the new card, or Media Center.
