  Looking at your specific model, I think you can try to connect an external monitor via the VGA port.

  Once you have connected the secondary monitor using the VGA port, press control + p and main Windows logo if you are able to extend or clone your desktop.

  Here, we create a new controlfile so SNA to controlfile will not be synchronized with the SCN of the datafile and redo the file.

  Please let me know how the new controlfiles' SNA is synchronized with the data file and redofile and wea are able to open the database without resetlogs clause.

  If your cold backup also includes online redo logs, a RESETLOGS is not necessary.

  The controlfile is created if it does not have a SNA, it reads the data file headers the YVERT database. For a cold backup, all the headers of data file are consistent.  (This is also the reason why a RECOVERY is not required).

  I'm having a problem in my office: I have a computer that is running Windows 7 configuration to connect to my area of the company, but this computer has been moved to a location where office network is not reachable.
  The user could connect using perfectly creditentials cached until today. For some reason, it's like the creditentials caching this user left.
  I tried to increase the number of sessions in memory cache in the registry for 50 and restart the computer, but it did not help.
  Badfully this computer cannot connect to a VPN also.
  So I'm looking for a way to add manually putting the user's session caching creditentials of his computer if possible.
  Can I use multiple computers that can connect to my company's domain and login to the user on them, but I can't find a way to copy his creditentials cached on these computers to his computer.
  Someone knows a way to do this, or something else to help me?

  I need to prevent all means of transporting data to a different database

  I tried the encryption (TDE) portfolio with tablespace but always utility data expdp works

  and I can copy the file (oracle_home\oradata\orcl) what hv the datafile to and replace it with a different database on another pc that have installed oracle on same directory then provided works perfectly

  even if there were the portfolio on the first database, we can create another portfolio with new password and every thing will be decrypted and it is not accepted.

  I need your help to find a way of:

  1-stop exp and utility expdp

  2-stop backup and restore of database with RMAN (auxiliary or copying RMAN files is added to the different database)

  3 - stop copy replace and folder (oracle_home\oradata\orcl) is the different database in the same place (another pc)

  (Note: in addition to the operating system user account is administrator)

  Please specify.  You can't restrict exp/imp, because it is installed on any client anywhere.  If they can query the database, they can export all they have access.  Check the roles that have EXPORT_FULL_DATABASE and limit those to yourself or to administrative positions under your control.

  expdp/impdp files similar to exp/imp of output, but put them on the database server (or a drive connected to the network).  You can't prevent their execution.  The API of PL/SQL is part of the database, so even without the expdp/impdp executable, you can do the equivalent within the database. The same basic data access control applies.

  RMAN backups can be run from remote machines, and the backup files can go to local disk, NAS network drive or tape.  On the local computer, you can use operating system permissions to protect them, but another admin on the computer can do what they want.  You can delete rman of this machine, but someone could just run rman from another machine and that it points to the database.  Limit which has the SYSDBA privilege.

  The raw database files are not useful if they are copied while the database is in place, but if there are other administrators on the computer, they may be able to stop the Oracle service, which stops the database, and then they can copy files wherever he wishes.  It's a situation TDE can protect against, because someone needs your encryption key to use database files, even if they copy them elsewhere.

  It was really far from saying these features can really turn off; you usually have to handle this with database privileges.

  If you can afford the extra option you can look into Oracle Database Vault.  It offers more restriction and auditing options, designed to prevent or detect abuse by privileged users.

  Hi Min,

  What Mike says is that you do not expect that the empty space after an operation of truncation (for example a delete or update that empties a page) in the database (empty pages) to return to the file system and therefore to see the physical file size decreases.

  The next section of the documentation explaining this: required disk space

  Space released by removing the key/data pairs in a Btree database or Hash is never returned in the file system, even if it is reused when possible. This means that the databases Btree and hash are to develop alone. If enough key is deleted from a database which shrinks the underlying file is desirable, use the DB-> compact() method to recover disk space. Alternatively, you can create a new database and copy the folders of the former into it.

  
  

  So, as Mike suggested, you can dump and reload the data into a new database, or copy data from the existing/old database to a new (to remove the old database and rename a new one the old name), or you can try to compact the database using the method compact().

  If you use compact(), then in order to force the return of empty for the file system pages when possible, use the DB_FREE_SPACE flag and try to avoid using an explicit transaction (use a NULL tnxid pointer, so this BDB will use internally of several transactions that will be engaged periodically to avoid locking large sections of the tree).

  When you use the compaction in order to free up space and return pages from database empty in the file system that it is generally recommended to repeat Compact with a value low 'compact_fillpercent '.  In addition, the following output statistics fields in the structure DB_COMPACT, compact_pages_truncated and compact_pages_free should be examined to determine if there is a point, continuing to run the compaction with the same compact_fillpercent.  If the values are strict positive it is then compact() calling again with the same compact_fillpercent (and specify the DB_FREE_SPACE flag).  The compact algorithm allows a single pass on the pages of the database;  pages so not empty at the end of the file will prevent the free pages (which are placed on the free list) to be returned to the file system.

  Enter edit of another portlet mode... go to admin and find a portlet you know there and click here to see its properties... once there, change the objectid in the address to the one in question bar and you should get the name and all of its properties... Let me know if it works and it is solved.
