• Connect to a Local MySQL database

  I am creating a java application and need to use a database. I decided to use a local MySQL database. I'm having difficulties to establish a connection to the database. I have analyzed various codes for this problem on the internet and wrote my own code similar to those that I analyzed. I don't see why the code below does not work because I also put the path to the connector inside the variable classpath to the environment. I did everything that was suggested on various jdbc tutorial sites and yet my code does not work. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I already posted a thread on this issue before, but the suggestions really helped and I'm hoping to get different results this time.

  According to the error, your class cannot find driver class... This means that you have not added the mysql connector jar file in your build or lib path... Please check the same...

  I use labsql (and quite new to him m) and the server Mysql 5.1.I wanted to know how to connect to the database without changing the name of the dsn from the tools administrative/ODBC 5.1 driver manually. I want to install exe in several PC and it would be a great help if I could make the connection directly but my Vi.

  I went through several forums and came to know that 'Provider = ProviderName; Data Source = DatabaseSource; Initial Catalog = DatabaseName; User = username ID; Password = password', should solve the problem. But where in my case I m still confused. The connection string above does not sit well with me.

  If you want to disconnect Internet on the Windows 7 computer, then you can follow the steps mentioned below. These steps would help you to disconnect from the wired connection, while the connection is still active.

  (a) click Start.

  (b) type network and sharing Center in the start search bar and press ENTER.

  (c) in the left pane, click on change adapter settings

  (d) it would be to open a window with the connection to the wired LAN.

  (e) now, right click on the wired LAN connection icon and select Disable. (Provide the password if necessary).

  (f) it would disconnect the computer from Windows 7 to connect to the local network.

  When you say 'LAN', are you referring to the network or you try to share the printer on the network?

  How is the printer connected? (Ethernet/WiFi)

  If you have noticed that the port is causing problems, please download and run the print and Scan doctor, it will be probably diagnose and fix the problem you are experiencing.

  What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

  HP has several Officejet Pro 8600 series.

  What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

  • Update the firmware of the printer.
  • Don't hide the SSID (network name).
  • What type of encryption are you helping? HP recommends WPA and WPA2.
  • You have a double router broadband? Make sure that the two groups were not the same network name.

  If the problem persists, you may encounter an IP address conflict. It's a good idea to assign the printer a static IP address outside your DHCP range. For example, some routers default DHCP is located between 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.200. So, I would use 192.168.0.232.

  To assign the static IP address, use the following steps as a guide.

  • Print a Page of Network Configuration menu of the printer front panel. Note the IP printer. IPV4 address

  • Choose the network tab, then wireless on the left side, and then select the IPv4 tab.
  • Select Manual IP.
  • Enter your IP address manual (192.168.0.232)
  • Enter 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask, except if it is different.
  • Enter the IP address of your router that sits on the Network Configuration Page) for the default gateway.
  • Please, click on manual DNS server. For the preferred DNS Server Manual please enter 8.8.8.8 and the Alternate DNS Server Manual, please enter 8.8.4.4.
  • Click on apply.
  • Restart the router, the printer and the computer.
  • Test printing and scanning.

  If the problem persists, download and run this patch rollup: resolving printing issues in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

  • Try printing and scanning.

  In addition, if you are still having problems try the steps in this guide, HP printers - "offline" Status Message printer (Windows 7).

  Continue on, if the problem persists.

  A month or so I reinstalled Windows XP SP2 (have since updated to SP3), and ever since then the LAN connection icon does not appear in the network connections window, and even when I plug the ethernet cable it does not automatically turn on the connection to the local network.   This Microsoft Knowledge Base article might help: bridge may not work with a Non-Promiscuous Mode network card .

  Suddenly, I found I can't access my LAN port because I can't found the option to connect to the Local network in network and sharing Center. I also looked in Device Manager, but there is also the LAN card is missing. I don't know why it's happening. The only change I made is configured LAN properties as set as--> advanced--> liaison & duplex speed--> 100 Mbit/s/full duplex. Although I don't know if it has nothing to do with my lack of LAN option, but that's the only change that I made before I see my LAN is missing. then I reinstalled my windows 7 with the hope that it will be recovered, but after the installation of a new windows 7 the problem still persists and also I am very sure that my operating system windows 7 is all ok to install all drivers base because I used the same OS disk for countless times.

  Kindly help me how to solve this problem, because I can't use any Ethernet connection in my computer.

  The total absence of the adapter is a hardware problem.  Is this a desktop or a laptop? If Office on the motherboard or card adapter?  If it is a laptop or onboard there may be an option to enable / disable in the BIOS which might be worth checking out.

  How you connect to your network in your home?  Wired or wireless?

  One thing to check is...

  Click Start

  Click on Control Panel

  In the upper right corner of the screen, type network

  Click on network and sharing Center

  on the left side of the screen, click on change adapter settings

  Once again depending on how you connect, wired or wireless

  Click the appropriate connection, I'm guessing that you're wired for the sake of this example

  Right-click on the connection to the Local network

  Click on properties

  Click on configure

  Click the power management tab

  Make sure that it is has nothing enabled which could put the network card to sleep

  I don't think that the format of replies to the messages in the local folders are linked with focus groups or to individual account settings. As local folders can contain messages between several accounts or identities, it is more likely that formatting uses the setting of the account or identity appearing in the: field when you reply.

  This is how I think it should work. How this works in practice may be different.
