    Hi Peter,.

You can move the WordNum function to calculate the text field event (may be a better place for it anyway).

    So you should have something like;

    WordNum (NumericField2

    (2).

    Bruce

    -form1. #subform [1]. DollarAmountText::calculate :-(FormCalc, client).

  • How to convert WMV to MP3 or SWF file in Adobe Media Encoder?

Try to load a video file wmv in my PDF but Acrobat says that I need to convert the first SOUL to an MP3 or SWF file. How to make this cause what SOUL says file format is not supported?

    Hello

Please tell us when you have found this info on the format not supported? When you try to put wmv to SOUL, when you try to convert it to mp3?

You should be able to convert your wmv in mp3 file - mp3 simply choose formats and convert. But it must be remembered that the mp3 is only audio file so you will have only the audio of your wmv - I guess that video - file. To convert your file wmv to swf video (which is A / V format) you need to use an earlier version of SOUL (adobe removing support for flv in SOUL CC 2014: Media Encoder help |) News summaries). If you have a previous version of yu have to convert your WMV to FLV and then use Flash Professional who convert to SWF - unfortunatelly SOUL cannot convert directly to swf format.

But... as far as I know you can use other video formats to PDF-dependent format which version of Acrobat you are using. Knowing that you have not to convert your flv to swf - you can just use mp4 format flv of SOUL or really popular (and present in all versions of the SOUL).

You can find more on what you can put in PDF here: taken supported file formats. Acrobat, Reader

    Next /.
Enter a name and a location.
    Next /.
    Show more choices.
    Other parameters.
Open the window of the droplet and choose... DV - AVI.
    Next /.
Wait while the movie is saved.
    Finishing...

Or you can try to convert your. WMV file to the. MOV or. AVI
    format using a converter.

There are many converters available on the net... some

  • Convert a JPEG text to a form that I can change and then print.

Ideas: how to convert a JPEG text file to the one in which I can change and then print?

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem

This can be done better with Adobe Photoshop CS5 http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/compare/ which is about the gold standard for working with documents of the image - but it's a bit expensive.  It also won't be easy even with this program - it is possible but it will take time and effort.

If you do not Photoshop, you can use the tool text box in Microsoft Word or picture in Microsoft Publisher - even if they are quite a bit more difficult to work with Photoshop (which is hard) and the results will not look as good, regardless of how carefully you use. The advantage of Word on the editor, is that you have the possibility to use a Wordart object and 3D text. So these are the vector graphics as opposed to a bitmap will not appear on your final print rasterized (but this isn't a problem with Photoshop)

Quality is really about how much the text superimposed on the image - if it is separate, it will be much easier than if it is covering the picture (so the question is how to fix the image once the text is deleted or changed and not only to change the text).  And it may not be a simple matter to simply correct a word or two, if you do not have the same font available - you may need to change the entire text, so it will look right.

Another solution is to use OCR software to scan the image, and then try to modify the text.  Still, it won't be easy (probably even harder than the options above) but it's a possibility (depending on how the text is mixed with the image).  The problem here is that most of the options just freeware have the ability to make such a complex task, so you would probably need a comprehensive program of recommended.  Here are some options:http://www.simpleocr.com/OCR_Software_Guide.asp.  What you should do the work is also quite expensive and if you choose this option or the above options depends on what other uses you may have for these programs (and the quality you're looking for in the finished product), once again, I don't think something will do the job as well as Photoshop - I have Photoshop (an earlier version) and I never tried to do it before I did a bunch of other things that would seem impossible.  I don't want to attempt this task if the text superimpose the image, because although I think it would be possible, it would take a LOT of time and effort to obtain a finished product of acceptable quality.

Technically, you could use Microsoft Paint to do this, but the quality would probably (which are certainly) be terrible and I doubt you want to even keep yourself let alone print it or send it to someone else.  In some cases, it might do the trick but it's free (again, depending on where to find the text and especially if she superimposes the image).

Regarding the conversion of the JPG file, I'm not sure what turn you to who would make it easier to change and change as you suggest here.  Perhaps TIFF, but it helps very much.  Here are some converters of JPG files:http://convert-jpg.software.informer.com/.  Even if you converted to a .doc file, you could just open it and change the text - it is not as simple as that.

Another option would be to convert the JPG file in a file of CAD and CAD software allows you to edit the image - but I'm not familiar with CAD products so I can't offer recommendations here (except that I heard that most working properly are still more expensive than the above options and they can be used just about everything).

Whatever you decide to do, it won't be easy (and perhaps costly as well).  There are freeware programs that claim to be able to do these things, but you will not be disappointed by the quality (unless the text is separated from the image, you can totally erase what's there and replace it with the one you want).  For them, you can search on Bing, Google,www.tucows.comand www.download.com.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

All my emails in Inbox disappeared from Thunderbird. I opened the subfolder "Inbox" under "Profile" (using WordPerfect to open) and I think that the missing e-mails are there. However, they are coded and I can't make any sense of them. Does anyone know how to convert them into readable text? I use Windows 7.

I spent 3 days on this now and I'm tired. I think I'll try using some e-mail recovery software.

  • How to convert specific images on my Clipboard to text once paste the picture on my .pdf document?

Hey Adobe experts, I could really use your help.

I have some screenshots of school I pasted on OneNote. These screenshots have a large amount of text that I could use. I created a large .pDF document where I saved my notes and text. Now - how to convert the SPECIFIC images that I stick to the text document? I use the word 'Specific' here because I know I can run OCR on a blank page without any text. But how to do OCR on an image

It automatically happened a couple of times when I tried to save the document immediately after I pasted the image - when I was under "Edit PDF" I was able to edit and change the fonts of the text. But how can I do this at will? Is there a special button somewhere?

P.S. I already tried to OCR - but it's only limited to pages without already "renderable text".

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC; 8.1 Windows machine

    Hi SinNombre,

If you are referring to perform OCR on a page with the image and the renderable text, it is not supported. However, you can use the following workaround for the same thing:

    1. print the PDF document to Microsoft XPS Document Writer or accessing the file-> export to...-> Image-> (an example of TIFF or PNG format)

2 convert the output created in PDF format. This PDF file contains all the texts and images in the form of images.

    3. run the OCR on this PDF.

    This should solve your problem

How to convert a layer back to the text "T? He is currently uneditable and I want to change the font (also, how what happened?).

According to your layers panel. The top layer is a text layer years the second layer is a raster layer. A raster layer once the case has been closed, cannot be cancelled. It will have to be re-created. If for some reason, you left the file open, then it is perhaps possible to cancel it, because it would show in the history stack. But by default that stack is set to 20 States, to more than 20 he would push the battery.

I think that you have to bite the bullet and redo this layer.
