  • How to copy a slide show on my desktop for a dvd disc? It has music and pictures on it.

I made a slideshow with music and images and it works fine on my computer I want to burn to disc dvd, how do I do this?

    Hi Daniel,.

I think that the simple article will answer your question: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-copy-your-digital-image-slideshow-to-dvd.pageCd-storyboard, pageNum - 1.html.

This article may be a little more in tune with what you try to do with what you have.  Procedures are very detailed: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/dvd-photo-slideshow/.

The following article covers the process in a series of questions and the second to last covers how to include audio and the last how to burn the DVD.  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Burn-a-DVD-Video-disc.  If necessary or useful, see additional article links along the right edge of the item for more information and details (and with those, do the same) and finally you will get to see all that Microsoft has on the topic regarding the useful articles.  It will take longer than the other items, but will give you a deeper understanding of the entire process (and may be the best way to start to learn the basics and then move from there to an article on the procedure that seem you so much easier to understand (and can change the way that you want to create the slide show).)

It is a little more detailed (and at the same time less detailed), but covers how more info on how to create the slide show that the way to move physically to a DVD, but it can be useful, I included it: http://www.ehow.com/how_4797332_dvd-slideshow.html.

I suspect the first or the second will be the most useful - if the third gives the best overview, if you follow through all the articles referenced as well.

If your problems persist, please explain what exactly goes wrong and where, and we'll try to troubleshoot it.  If that proves to be too much trouble, we will download a special burning software and do it directly - but I had rather you try these options first because they are simpler and should be available and are already well explained (as I need to explain this another solution much more in detail because it is not prepared in advance anywhere).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • In iMovie 9.0.4 How can I move events to an external hard drive?

Note: I am writing this issue on behalf of my daughter, who is an old iMac running 10.6.8.   His version of iMovie is 9.0.4.

She has about 50 GB, events which occupies about one-third of its HD.  There is an external hard drive with lots of available storage.

How to pass these events to the external hard drive?

    Thank you

    Owen

For a long time I used iMovie 9 but this link to the help info gives instructions: http://help.apple.com/imovie/#mov3ac6d42c

Its probably safer to copy rather than move events (unless you already have a backup) just in case something goes wrong.

  • Copy out event.result a XML var XML data do not work

So I'm pretty new to Flex, but learning with the help of a few books. I'm totally confused here though, as I'm copied an example right out of The Flex 3 Bible and its does not work the way I thin it should. My code is below. Here's my problem. I read in an XML from a php script. Works very well. In debugging, I can say that the event.result gets the XML as it should. In the resultHandler I am trying to copy it into a variable that I assigned called myCollection. That's all just not happens for a reason any. If I look at the variable in debugging, set to null. After that I'm trying to take innertags and get out (myCollection.trumpet.settings). Of course this does not work because myCollection is filled with nothing. It was just released an example page 654... I've been bangging my head against the wall for hours. any help on how to copy the data off event.result would be great.
