  Hi, I m a free user update to Acrobat Reader DC, but I can´t more see the Save button to overwrite the changes directly on an open pdf file. I mean, I give myself the option "Save as", but then I have to find the right place to save. In my older version of Acrobat Reader when I pressed the button 'save' the program automatically looked for the folder the document I was working on had been, but now it seems that I have to search the folder manually whenever I want to save a file on my computer. Is there a solution to this?

  If not, I would like to install my old version of Acrobat Reader (I m in doubt between X and XI: I think it was the last one). How can I install my old version without losing changes (comments, for example) I did on my pdf files? Thank you very much.

  The "Save" button becomes available when you make changes to the file. If you come to open a file and make any changes to it (and this isn't a temporary file) then this button is disabled. This is how applications work.

• Comment by synchronization problem

  I use Acrobat Pro DC on my PC with Windows 10 and adobe acrobat reader on my ipad.

  I read the same book on my two PCs and ipad and to comment on the book.

  I tried to synchronize comments between these two devices and I found that it is not as simple as that.

  I turned on the mobile link on my PC and log on my ipad. The file appeared on my ipad under local.

  But when I made the comment on a device, the i would not see it on the other device.

  I tried to solve the problem by downloading my file on the cloud of document, and has not improved the situation.

  I opened and closed the file on both devices for several times and it didn't work.

  Hey XI,.

  You must open the file compared to the clouds of document, make changes, comments and save it, now, when you open the same file from the clouds of document on your device, you would be able to see the comments and changes you have already applied on the pdf file.

  Just make sure, you are editing and open the same file on devices and do not editing local copy and then searching for variations DocCloud copy of the document.

  Additionally, make sure that you use the same Adobe ID on both devices.

• Fonts change Adobe Acrobat Dc drive

  In previous editions of the Acrobat reader software, you can change the Font.In of this edition, you need to buy Acrobat Pro Dc to do this. If its possible I would like to at least change the font to Arial to something else, as happened in previous acrobat readers. Is there a gin liked to achieve?

  Ah, if you change comments, no text. (Yes, I know comments have text, but it is not the text on the page). Another story, I hope that someone can help you.

• Replacement of comment mystery slide removing slides

  When you edit a project, if I delete the #15 on 15 slide, Captivate will remove the slide, BUT it also replaces the comment for slide #14 (now of 14) with the comment of slide #1.
  
  If I remove the side #15 on 20, Captivate deletes the #15 slide, but replaces the comment (what was) #16 with the comment of slide #1 slide.
  
  After this bizarre action took place, I can go into 'Edition' and he'll say 'change comment slide undo CTRL + Z. That will bring the comment original back without restoring the deleted slide.
  
  What the heck? Anyone know why this is happening? Don't forget to restore a comment when you change a major project is really annoying.

  Hi ouadji,

  We are already aware of this CAR (there is another CAR # for what it 408955). Crash occurs when you do not use the autotool and you change comments. For now the workaround is to use the automatic tool for editing comments, we are investigating the incident. The accident occurred only in 2013 of LabVIEW.

• I can not find the tool to delete in Acrobat Pro XI

  I want to write an essay on a bank statement, I downloaded in pdf format.

  I clicked on Adobe Acrobat XI Pro "juicy" in the Help menu and searched for Help and found an article titled "content sensitive removal of PDFs in Adobe Acrobat DC".

  Under the heading "Sensitive content to delete (Acrobat Pro DC)" it says:

  I can't find the Tools menu.  I only have the following menus:

  I don't know what is Acrobat Pro DC but it was everything I could find in the help.

• VAPP model Edition

  Can someone please provide more details on editing VAPP model and how it works in Director vCloud?  In the laboratory Manager, I was able to cancel publication of a model, deploy it, make the changes and then re - publish.

  It appears in vCloud Director it is not possible to cancel publication of a model and modify or change comments customization options.

  vApps Katalog (models) are considered to be read-only, as you saw. The only way to do what you want is to add the TIME to your org vDC, make the edit, and then add the VAPP updated return to the catalogue. You will want to either delete the original catalogue VAPP or use a version/date system so that you know that one is the most recent.

  vCD can be very limiting. It's one of those moments.

• Newbie interrogating an XML field in Clob

  I tried without success to the query of XML in a CLOB field today without much success.
  
  The clob field stores (modification, revision, edited) approvals for each version.
  I'm trying to get the most recent version (in this case 13) and State (name), it is (in this case "reviewed")

• Mac Pro-connect on two private subnets

  CNA Pro... running Leopard OSX 10.5,5 with 8Gig memory on-board.

  Running VMWare Fusion 2 with update.

  Need to run across two private subnets...

  10.0.10.XX (en0) IP static set of works DNS etc. for host OSX Mac Pro applications running as FCPro/Protools etc.

  192.168.1.xx (en1) static The IP address defined for comments that XP Professional will host a few apps like Autocad and Mathcad etc must log on Win2k domain as well...

  These are statically assigned IP addresses , as they will be all the time, persistent connections.

  Added 'second virtual network' adapter... both the value "bridged mode".

  Have tried the 'bridge' mode to try to achieve connectivity direct en1 interface across XP Pro. assign a static IP "virtual adapter 2 '...

  (Checked that this scenario seems to work very well on an iMAC, I place last week... opens a session on the Win2K domain... everything works but only single NIC)

  FWIW, I have no problem to use VM@Work Tokamak 2.0.0 to fill two different virtual networks for the 2 network cards physical on my Mac which are on different subnets and have connectivity across two subnets of in Virtual Machines.

  It sounds like you haven't read fully the 'Tokamak.pdf VM@Work' in the or the document Advanced Networking Configuration - Tokamak Networking Scripts for VMware Fusion .  The reason I say it's you haven't mentioned nowhere in this thread that you have changed the configuration the target Virtual Machine's .vmx file to support the changes you made to the virtual network using VM@Work Tokamak 2.0.0 VMware.

  In other words do you have added/changed the .vmx as well? (See 4.0 change comments VMX file in the documentation.)

  Convention:

  If you have done this then in order to resolve this problem you must validate out ifconfig from the Host and ifconfig or ipconfig/all (depending on guest operating system) out of comments and the .vmx config file target VMS to begin with. (It is recommended that you redirect the output to a file on disk and then archive and attach the requested information to a reply post vs just copy and paste in reply.)

  Also why are you fill vmnet1 and vmnet8?  Personally, I recommend to leave the default value for the Type of network for vmnet1 and vmnet8 and add additional vmnet for additional bridged network.

• Disable the multimedia tool

  I have a model 3D pdf and the measuring instrument must be disabled before sending it to the end-user.

  There is a script to disable the buttons of the javascript reference tools

  for example app.hideToolbarButton ("Hand");

  This is a script file level and won't be not functional when sending to an end user off site but it needs to be placed on the hard drive.

  Please can someone tell if there is a script to disable a tool button that is not a folder level script?

  Also, I need to find the name of the button.

  I used the listToolbarButtons script to find the name of the tool as well as the responses of the measurement of 3D console:

  You can't disable the 3D in this way measuring tool. There is a function of 3D - runtime.disableTool () - API, but it only affects the 'movement' like Spin and Rotate tools.

  However, any 3D measurement involves the creation of a comment to store the value - so if you fix the PDF and prevent changes, comments and measurement tools will disappear.

• Insert the Image name in the database

  I created a form with a file field to upload a picture and insert its name directly into the mysql database. The column type is varchar which name will be inserted via the form. Now, I get two problems. All the fields fill up the database with the exception of the name of the image. The name of the image must be inserted in the productImage column. He remanins null. No image is downloaded to the destination folder.
  
  And also, on presentation of the form, I get this error.
  Run database query error.
  'ProductID' column cannot be null
  
  I enclose the complete code. Could someone help? All I need is that the file is downloaded and name inserted in the mysql database in the specified column.
  

  There is only two errors I see in your code:

  First, you need around the loop shaped cfoutput tags - otherwise, the #i # naming fields won't work and all three will be called simply "productID #i #", etc...

  Second, you must name dynamically variable 'file', no cffile. ServerFile. As each file is downloaded, the cffile. ServerFile will be associated with the value of the loop of the file [x].

  I enclose your code with the changes commented so you can see what will happen. BTW, I tested this code and it works as expected.

  Does anyone know how to change the order of notes and comments on the app store using your iPhone, now that it is fixed to oldest first. The problem with this command is that some new versions of software have no comments, and when you switch from the current versions of all the versions it will show its review all the way to starting the app, which could sometimes be 2010 and perhaps irrelevant. I tried to connect using iTunes on a computer to change, it doesn't seem to work.
