How to create a form like this?

I want to create something like this:

navbar.png

I have now the idea of creating images from scratch, I hope that you can help me.

Something like that could be done in Photoshop using tools such as the pen tool. Since it is symmetric, essentially, you would create a half of the shape can duplicate, flip, and merge all as a single form. You would create while all the effects on the shape later as shadow and texture.

But the pen tool can be difficult for some users to understand. Adobe Illustrator may be your best bet in this case.

  • How to create a layout like this: TreeField with variable RowHeight

    Hello

Is there a way to make a TreeField with the variable row height?  According to the javadoc, it implements the VariableRowHeightProvider interface. However, setRowHeight applies to all rows in the TreeField.

If I had to replace the method of painting of TreeField, how can I determine the high coords (x, y) lines that fall in the visible screen area?

    -MO.

This has been discussed on the forum several times. Unfortunately, TreeField does not support variable line heights, despite the suggestive interface of the VariableRowHeightProvider. This interface is not exposed publicly, isn't available for application developers.

I tried using setRowheight within the TreeFieldCallback and found that, on some devices, it worked if it was used to set the height of the Next line. Unfortunately once again, this proved to be a false hope, because it does not on other devices/OS versions. (I was using 4.2.1.)

The best options seem to be to implement your own custom field or patch something together using a mixture of other types of fields, according to René.

It will work as a form, not a button, so there is no need of different States. I looked at a few tutorials to create buttons, and they seemed much more complicated that I think you need to create a form like this.

Experience 3D bevel & emboss, front view and Tall-round bevel. Adjust the lighting you want. Then add a light shade.

Personally I have always found these bevel unsatisfactory effects, but you can produce similar results using carefully controlled mixtures

How to create a form of type free paths (like those drawn with pencil or pen tools) using js?

    Thank you

This is because you create separate ways. Create just a first, and then add all the pathpoints.

Do not forget that all first path you create comes with free first 2 points, so just move these in the position as shown above. Then add the new points to the same path, rather than create new ones (lines #4, #8, and #12 in my example).

  • How to create a form that requires thousands of boxes?

    Hello forum members

I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional.  I searched the internet and forums for the last few hours and I can't seem to find information on how to create a form with multiple check boxes.  I don't want to give individual names to thousands of boxes.  I am hoping there is a simple solution to my problem.  Maybe don't even need to use checkboxes.

    Here it is...

I'm a DJ and the wedding season is coming.  For every wedding that I do, I usually give the bride and groom a list of my songs and they choose a bunch of songs they would like to have at their reception.  In the past, I've just been sent word to Web page with songs and they would send me their selections in another document or directly in the email response.  I want to make this process easy for them (and me) in a pdf document where they can simply place a check mark next to the songs they want and then send it to me.  Premium (if possible) I would like to be able to export the songs they have selected in a separate document so that I don't have to go through the full pdf (with thousands and thousands of songs) when they send it to me.

I would be forever grateful if someone help me or direct me to a link with additional information.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

Probably the best thing to do is to have Acrobat automatically adds checkboxes for you. It would take to add a box character by using a font such as Wingdings next to each song title. When you select "forms > run form field recognition", it detects each box on every page and add the checkbox fields.

You need to activate the reader of the document (Advanced > user rights enable in Adobe Reader) so that users can save the completed form.

Once you receive it back, you can run a script to create a list of selected songs. Exactly how do you it depends on indications of the final form that you create.

You can not. Not in PS. It is a Voronoi tesselation motif created by dividing a contour of mesh 3D accordingly. Of course the filter Crystalize product model, but like cards post 3d are based on uniform grid subdivision, you do not get the vertices and edges. There you go...

  • How to create a form of clipping as a slice of circle paths?

I want to make a DVD label by dividing the circle into 8 equal slices (like cutting a pie 4 times). In each installment, I'll put a photo of an actor in it.

I think I need to create 8 layer with 8 slices of picture, each layer Gets a clipping path that has the shape of a slice of 45 degrees of the circle. Once I have this setup I can paste photos into layers and adjust photos up to what it seems good in confines of each slice.

The question is how to create these paths of clipping in the form for a share of the cake? I've already drawn a circle of 120mm (using the elipse tool), indicating the outer limit of the dvd label. But I do not know how to cut in 8 specific increments of 45 degrees of each. Help?

Basically, fair value guides on tangents bounding the circle four and also two it crosses both horizontally and vertically. The intersections of the guide resulting allows to draw the eight sections of the circle. Then, just use the intersect mode in your tool path overlap each of these 8 triangles with a copy of the original circle.

  • How to make a screen like this on Blackberry

Sorry for the title but I don't know how to summarize the issue.

I need to make a screen like this:

As you can see, it shows these 'boxes' with elements of user interface inside each of them.

Each 'case' is placed inside something like some sort of table cells.

I thought it would be a good idea to represent the 'boxes' as individual screens inside a TableLayoutManager with vertical scrolling, but I don't even know if it's reliable.

Please someone tell me how to do something like that on the BlackBerry because I have no idea where to start.

    I use JRE BlackBerry 4.5.0

    Thanks in advance!

I would not use TableLayoutManager for that.  In fact, I would write my own Manager specific to each "Box" that you see and then just add the number of these 'boxes' that I needed.

But since you are new (and welcome to the forums!), I think that you can get pretty close to what you want by using standard controls.

You use a screen - and setTitle allows to set the title of the screen.  In your setTitle you would define a LabelField - and before you set, you will specify the size of the font you need.  For font color, you will need to override the paint.  In object, you just set the color of your choice

    .setColor (.)

    and then call the super.paint.

    The tips are:

    (1) setTitle is that at a certain level of the OS, it changes to be white to be black, then you will need to override paintBackground() to set the background on the color you want.

    (2) you must specify thje USE_ALL_WIDTH style for this LabelField.

This kind of thing (change the color and the background color of a LabelField) is fairly widespread, the forum for more search tips.

On this screen you will add each box.  Each box will be a VerticalFieldManager - you can use setMargin (...) to space out these as you wish.   Call everyone your 'BoxManager.

Each VerticalFieldManager you will have been given the title bar.  Title bar is an another LabelField as you added under the title of the screen.  Once more you will crush object and maybe paintBackground() to get the colors you want.  Again use USE_ALL_WIDTH.  But to get the Bitmap image, you must expand the LabelField class and provide a setBitmap for this class.  Then in painting, that you have overridden it to set the color, you will also need to use

.drawBitmap, to paint the image on the right side.

This, after the call to super.paint ().

The footer bar is very similar, but this time you will use the DrawStyle.FIELD_RIGHT for the labelField painted himself on the right.  It is in the constructor.

Finally the trickiest part, the lines and the button.  Leave this for last...

The simplest option is to add to your BoxManager and HorizonalFieldManager.  Then add a button and a RichTextField (not a LabelField) to that.  This will give you the button first.  Not what you want, but until you have worked a little bit more, are the best option.  You can us back later to get the button on the right side.

OK, enough, do this step at a time and ask questions about each control separately that you have problems with.

    Good luck.
