First get the picture of how you want it to look with curves B & W, etc.

Go view > presentation of the new Guide and increase the columns to give you the required width.  You need to do to keep him still, or it won't work.

Make a new layer and make sure Snap is on. Then use the marquee tool to make a rectangular selection between each second guide and fill it with black.  This layer is there to allow you to reload the selection.

The portrait layer must be above the layer of black lines.  CTRL, click on the black lines to load selection

.. .and add a layer mask to the layer portrait

Copy the layer of portrait

Turn guides on (Ctrl);

Drag the layer of picture copied to the left until it snaps to the guides

Select the original layer of the portrait and drag to the right until it snaps

Turn guides (Ctrl);

Select the layer mask on the portrait top layer and invert (Ctrl I)

The overal and contour shape will depend on the priginal portrait and the width of the columns.

You can refine the alignment using free transform on the layers of two portrait but you must ungroup layer masks (where the red circles are).

    Hi - I am trying to create a project to help duplicate using RH6 + Robosource Control. I've copied project folder, renames, opened the project, renamed the project within the parameters of HR project and generated. Everything seemed fine, but I expect to be able to then 'add the project to source code control. The only option was "delete source code control" which means that the project was already in source code control. This is logical because the name of .cpj is the same... Miss me a fundamental concept and step here... (perhaps several)-can anyone help?

    No, it's not very intuitive, is it? Unless you go through all the right steps to disconnect the CSR project, the project that you copied will think it is the original... a bit like a human in a science fiction movie clone! But I digress. Here's what you must do to clone a project under RoboSource Control:

    1. a copy of the project.
    2 remove the following files from the root of the new project:
    -pblsvrs.sss (if applicable)
    -mssccprj.scc (if present)
    -projectname.cpd
    -projectname.pss
    3. in Notepad, open projectname.xpj.
    4 remove all entries between and , but let the two tags.
    5. close Notepad, and then save the xpj file.
    You now have a project that is removed from the source control.
    6 open the project in HR and rename the project.

    You now have a new independent project.

    The simplest method in Windows is to select an album, and then click:

    Create > slide show

    Then use:

    Exit > save as file > PDF

    That will produce a document of several pages.

    Shutterfly and Adobe have recently agreed to remove the print service to Shutterfly who has been integrated into Photoshop Elements. Therefore, options related to the order of prints by Shutterfly are no longer available in Photoshop Elements.
