  There is a very cool technique to do by your signature in a Photoshop brush.  Once this is a brush, you can change the size and place the signature everywhere where you want.

  Google "Photoshop brush signature" or something similar and you will see a lot of tutorials.  Try this one:

  Basically, you sign your signature on a blank piece of paper, then you scan in a JPG or TIFF file, then you open that file in PS to create a brush.

  There are two ways you can handle this... Build users of the APEX and continued them through the api of the APEX (not recommended by what I saw several comments here, outside the development environment) OR in your application, you could build a custom authentication system...

  I thought that LR3 would act in the same way that I saw LR2.7 Act when the duplication on import. At the time, I saw a file created whenever I imported - titled 'imported Friday, July 23, 2010' for example. Yes, it does not match the structure of image shown inside LR folders but it gave me a good shot to find the image if I had to. These files were crreated on another internal hard drive. No RAID here.

  A few weeks after the passage in LR3 Finally, I looked to the specified backup file (I guess I have too much faith in backup gods Elves) and nothing on the other hard drive the folder I designated BUT the images are all loose in there, and the total number of images is about 2/3 of the total number of images imported into LR3.

  I looked closely at the place of imports (right pane) in which I make the choice and if there is a setting that will make the process a result identical to what I saw in LR2.x I am not able to see.

  Suggestions? work - arounds? Thank you, in advance, for carillon.

  This is a known issues. LR 3 puts all backups of import in a big pile of files, in contrast to LR2. Don't know if it is a bug or design change. S Thers nothing you can do, so far, aside from using a third party software to ingest.

  It is a more serious problem. I've never heard of this. If you are sure you have counted everything correctly, this is a serious bug and should be reported here.

  It all depends on if you are looking to the future as EPMA will die slowly, most of the new features is pushed to the classic, but I understand, it can be quite a big change.

  If you are going to stick with EPMA then you should really create the ASO application in EPMA and try and use some features shared dimension to enjoy.

  I just bought a new laptop and am new to windows 8. I downloaded approximately 300 pictures and they all saved in the library of photos in the same folder.   Yes, this is why you need the mask to the group. It masks the blurry image as well as white. I have your layer 1 copy completely filled with white. To make the layer mask, you can do it several ways. To make one with the form you all ready in layer 1 copy, ctrl-click on the layer icon to make a selection (you can also make a new selection using the Oval Marquee tool). Select the group, and then click the layer at the bottom of the Layer palette. You can also use the shape tool and create a path (you want a path and not a form or pixel layer). Once the path is created and active (still selected), select the group, but this time hold down ctrl/cmd key when you click on the mask icon. This will make a vector mask, which is easier to change and move later.
