  You can duplicate your original text block, put a coat of any color on the range of text you want and then create the contours of this copy.   You can add the page as a top-level page. When you create the outline view, right-click on the thumbnail of the page, then click on the Menu Options-> exclude Page of Menus. Select the page you want to link to.

  Regarding the link at bottom of page, I suggest using real text and apply the hyperlink to that by selecting the block of text by typing in the link. If you want to continue using a hotspot, you can create a rectangle over the area you want to link. Change the rectangle to have no line and a (probably white) opaque fill for the % 1, then you will be able to use the functionality of link for this area. The biggest concern for the creation of a hot spot, it is that it can align properly in all browsers the receipt page and fill in the rectangle, that the link does not work properly in Internet Explorer.
