  I can usually export an InDesign page to JPEG using the exportFile of the document. Normally, it works in pageString value of application jpegExportPreferences on the name of the page that you wish to export.

  It works normally:

  // set export range to a custom range
  app.jpegExportPreferences.jpegExportRange = ExportRangeOrAllPages.exportRange;
  
  // set pageString to the name of the page I want to export, e.g. "3"

  The problem is, with pages created by the Alternative to the CS6 layout, there may be a lot of pages with the same name of '3 '. ExportFile method should now know the 'type' or the name of the layout of a page to export. Instead of using '3' as the pageString, I need to use something like "iPad h: 3. (See the image below). But I know not possible to get the name of a page layout. Can you please help?

  The same way you would call them from any C++ program. You don't mention what platform, and that probably made a difference.

  I have a physical table to join with a fact table: there are 3 different hierarchies, which share the last 2 levels inside the dimension table. It's the logic diagram of hierarchies:

  Partner of dimension

  -Operator
  -Product
  Contractor of dimension

  -Product
  
  All columns are in the same table physical source. I tried to create 3 table logic source from the same physical table, everyone with all the columns and create a hierarchy for each dimension table, but it gives me nQSError: 15011.
  
  Any suggestion? Maybe the physical table alias can help for the creation of tables of different sizes?

  It is a basic rule that you cannot create multiple hierarchies in a single dimension table, so what you do is create three tables of alias and slip into MDB layer in 3 different sizes and on top these tables create 3 different dimension hierarchies.

  Creation of forms like this are easier if you combine forms, such as Bojan illustrated in his post. To get the shape you illustrated in your post, you can create three shapes that you can combine to get rounded corners on the corners (user guides so that they fit), then subtract the only form, Bojan showed.

  Create basic shapes. I added a third form of fill the radius of the area that is removed later. I also added a stroke, so you can see the different shapes easier.

  

  Select all layers and merge the cmd/ctrl-E, or you could use tools combine to create them in a single layer from the beginning.

  Then using the path Selection tool, select the shape you want to remove and select the icon for the subtraction of the menu bar.

  Hope that there is no thread for this topic... is said by the way. I need to create a PDF of an InDesign file.

  I try to explain: with the ID, I would create a file with the text, tables, images with the text forms on them, etc... Now I have to export to PDF format and I want to turn the forms (sorry for the bad English, I'm Italian) into those to fill in PDF format. How can I do?

  Export the ID as an interactive PDF file.

  Open the PDF in Acrobat XI form, then:

  File > save as other > Reader Extended PDF > activate tools more (including fill & save)... Your users will be able to fill out the form and save it (assuming that they have later versions of the Acrobat Reader software).

  Be sure to keep a copy of your original PDF with a different file name because once you have created a form of PDF Reader enabled you cannot change it.

  Very, very frustrating.

  Each 'how to' I find online on the way to the trash my ID CS6 Pref told me to replace the files called "InDesign Defaults" and "InDesign SavedDate. The locations of these are supposed to be here:

  InDesign Defaults:

  Macintosh: Disk hard/users / < USER > / Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign / < Version # > / < language > /.

  InDesign SavedData:

  Macintosh: users/hard disk / < USER > / Library/Caches/Adobe InDesign / < Version # > / < language > /

  Well, there is no "Library" folder in my folder '< USER > '. The folder does not exist "Hiding" anywhere on my hard drive. Nowhere is there not "Adobe InDesign" folder on my hard drive. There seems not to be all the files on my hard drive with the names of "InDesign Defaults" or "InDesign SavedDate".

  What all this possible?

  Hi - I created tooltips using the old system Spry for a single Office site.  But now, I'm doing a reactive site and need to know how to make the ToolTips that works on a desktop computer, but also a phone.  ToolTips, I did work Spry, but only for a desktop - when you look at them on a phone, the box gets cut off, because it is not fluid.

  UPDATE - here's what I did.  I have re-created just the ToolTip on a simple HTML page.  You can see here:

  Currently, there isn't a direct way to the cover of page one page in InDesign. You will need to "fake" it by filling the side left (first page) of the spread, the same color as the background of your web page.
