How to crop an image in InDesign?

I know that there must be a way to do this, but for the life of me I can't find a crop tool.

Sound are two similar editing options. Adapt the content proportionally puts the entire picture in the frame, but can leave an empty area (and you can easily remove it by using the frame to adapt to the content). Fill frame proportionally useas as much of the image as possible without leaving no space empty, so he can trim. You can re - positioned inside the frame if you want another culture.

    See if the scale of the motion effect setting does the trick for you.  Each video clip has the effect of movement applied by default, but all settings are set so that the source element remains unchanged until you explicitly change the settings.  Adobe called movement effect "intrinsic", in case you run across this term in the search.  The volume is an intrinsic effect of audio clips (or the audio portion of the audio/video elements).

    In order to use the corner handles to enlarge, it is imperative that you have enough real estate to do this.

    Go to Image > resize > size to enlarge the canvas in canvas.

    In my opinion, it's a tortured this way. Image > resize > image size can be used for overall sizing. The dialog box to enter a value for the resolution. It is desirable, for printing, to have a resolution of 240 to 300 px / in.

    I stuck a page in an email, is there a way for cultures within Thunderbird or what I need to do cela in another program, then copy it from this show and paste in my email.

    cropping is done outside of Thunderbird, it is actually with all e-mail programs. Some offer editing tools that hide the parts of the image, but they does not easily crop. It can be a bit of a shock to find the picture you send contains really all the image of those in the know.

    Simply open paint. Paste the image and use cut to cut the part of the image you want and paste that into the email.

    I can't seem to flatten this image and keep its transparent background, hope someone can help me to do so. I also do not know if I should do the flattening in Indesign or Photoshop?

    I tried to insert the image with different extensions such as jpg, png, pdf and so on... Nothing seems to do the trick.

    I hope that there is someone who can help me with this! Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Looks like that turquoise is a spot color. Which PDF reader is your screenshot from? Only Acrobat, to simulate overprinting on, it appears correctly.

    The uncoated Pantone book is for the selection of spot colors (specially mixed inks that are used instead or in addition to, CMYK inks/toners).

    Unless it will be printed CMYK + a separate turquoise ink, you must either double-click on the sample, change the Type of Spot color to process, or open the ink Manager and switch to "all points in the process. If you actually print ink task, the RIP used to create the image for printing plates should make properly (as it looks like in Acrobat with simulate overprinting lit).

    The first thing you need to do is to determine if they are integrated. Have you checked the links Panel? You get a warning when you open the file of missing links?

    If the images are linked and you need to change, then Yes, you will need to ask them to provide images.

    Never had a problem like this with dynamic objects to go then and

    because you can set what would be the final out put of the dynamic object

    directly in Dreamweaver, I would say smart object is the way to go

    regardless of the fears of the mylenium.

    I think he will find it's a more like in AE or agency that would be

    a more never having to search for the original art of HAVE to

    Photoshop. I thik you will find leaving the dreamweaver to take care of

    the conversion of a web format, this will give the error free most

    method.

    the other way that you end up with a ton of variations you'll never ever

    don't forget they are there and what they were for.

  • Does anyone know how to crop an image in alternating vertical lines (1px apart) and combine them?

    Hey guys! I'm having a hard time to create a custom image for my research project and I was wondering if you guys might lend a hand .

    For my project, I want to take a picture that is 1920 x 1080 and alternating lines of cultures (1 px outside) and then combine them in 960 x 1080 picture.

    Is this possible on Adobe Photoshop? I need to make at least 100 images of this size.

    Thank you!

    I appreciate if you could help me.

    Try this script. He actually chooses a wide band of 2px, but he moves so that they overlap, and you really get a pixel in the final version. There is a bug with PS script than the mess to try to move a layer of a pixel. I'll have to report it. Save the code in a simple text with the extension .jsx below file. Place it in the subfolder of Photoshop Presets\Scripts. Restart Photoshop and it should appear in the main menu > file > Scripts. You can call it as you want. Here's a sample:

    #target photoshop

     var doc = activeDocument
     var curLayer = doc.activeLayer
     var odd = 0
     var count = 0
     var sWidth = 0
     var dLayer = false
     var dlg = new Window('dialog','1 PX')
        dlg.even = dlg.add('radiobutton',undefined,'Even');
        dlg.odd = dlg.add('radiobutton',undefined,'Odd');
        dlg.even.value = true;
        dlg.ok = dlg.add('button',undefined,'Ok')

  • How trim/crop a placed image?

    I'm new, new, new to Photoshop and I'm trying to learn it on the recommendation of my teacher. We make presentation of 24 x 36 posters and I need to place images at the scale on a white background. I scanned each image to PDF and then placed on the white canvas, but there are some pale lines pointing to the edge of the paper when images have been digitized. I can't find instructions how to crop each image anywhere. I do not understand the jargon Photoshop but no more, so I feel very lost. This is probably a very simple solution, but I'm pulling my hair out trying to find it. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

    If you used the put command to put your scans in the poster presentation, you must use a layer mask to "reframe" the image.  You can use the marquee tool - shortcut "M" and make sure that you use the retangular rather than the oval one selection tool.  Click and drag a box on the way you want to crop the image - displays a line of ants.  Then click on the mask icon in the layers palette to create the mask.
