  Select your control, click Edit-> order customize (ot type Alt-E, E), then in the command editor make sure, your photo is visible, and then type Ctrl + M or click on the small button with the key symbol. Then click on the photo a del hit.

  As a first attempt, try this:

  1. open the Start menu

  2. Select Control Panel

  3. click on the link Visual display optimize the easy access under the heading

  4. go to the section do the things on the screen easier to see

  5. do you have a tick in Delete (if available) background images?

  6. click on OK

  I can't seem to flatten this image and keep its transparent background, hope someone can help me to do so. I also do not know if I should do the flattening in Indesign or Photoshop?

  I tried to insert the image with different extensions such as jpg, png, pdf and so on... Nothing seems to do the trick.

  Looks like that turquoise is a spot color. Which PDF reader is your screenshot from? Only Acrobat, to simulate overprinting on, it appears correctly.

  Unless it will be printed CMYK + a separate turquoise ink, you must either double-click on the sample, change the Type of Spot color to process, or open the ink Manager and switch to "all points in the process.
