How to cut this image?

Hey guys, I have an image that I need to cut (remove background) and the background is almost in the same color as the hair. So the question is how I cut

the brown background woman hair? Example: [I tried the eraser/clone stamp/magic wand but it looks like always * honestly.]

A great idea as always of Norman.  I was going to go in the same sense that Christoph starting by the RAW file, which would have had much more potential for a background of contrasting color, then use them in calculations.  This is something I have not started that recently aid after that see http://www.nathanjosephdodson.com/Nathaniel Dodson on Tutvid testify, so I still homing on best practices, but using green red the value Add and -40 was the best I've had.

You would still do better starting with the RAW file.  Treat twice and the brighter version just to make the selection of the layer.

I have a picture of the Australia Day celebrations and I also have an image that is a map of the Australia.

What I want to achieve is to cut the photo in the form of the Australia card and put a thin border in the form of 'card' around him.

I hope that I have just described clearly the scenario.

Can anyone offer advice on how to achieve this?

    Thank you

    Tony

Open the image of the map and the country at the border make a selection with a tool appropriate such as the magic wand or Quick Selection tool.

Open the image of the Australia Day and select all (Ctrl + A), then copy it to the Clipboard (Ctrl + C)

Back on the map image, go in Edit > paste in and the map inside the selection.

Use transform (Ctrl + T) to scale the image to fit the card.

    Hello

Have you tried using 'IMAQ find brods 3.vi' ("Stirrup" under LabVIEW or "Advanced straight edges" palette in the Vision Assistant)?

It should allow you to detect each vertical edge of the book.

Select a rectangular KING, in the middle of the image (above the book request numbers), then search for the vertical brods using 'the left toward the right direction. "

Please see screen capture from the Vision Assistant, attached.

  • Anyone who doesn't know how to fix this image backup problem?

Try this post once again in the hope of getting an answer this time

I continue to have this problem where Firefox is slow to respond during the recording of the images.

When the problem occurs, and it does not happen often, I'll either ctrl + s or right-click, select "save image under...". "and after I click 'Save' I see it at the bottom right

    "One active download (remaining unknown).

All the time which shows, Firefox is slow to react. As soon as he goes, Firefox is fine.

Why Firefox is and what I can do about it?

Also, why Firefox re - upload images to save them? Why can't we just save images by copying them from a cache, they are stored in display them in the browser window?

I know of this add-on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3404/ and I, but it is useful when I want to record multiple images in a folder. When I want to, for example, save an image of 'good work', the other "wallpaper," the other "show family" and so on, it is heavy.

This can be a problem with the anti-virus control that Firefox runs, calling your AV software once the download is complete.

There are several ways, try this:

Duplcate the background layer and its visibility by clicking on the eye icon, stop

Work on the background copy layer

Access to the magic wand tool to select the white background. You may need to play with the tolerance value. Then, press Delete on the keyboard

Note: If the white background is in adjacency, select contiguous.

  • suggestion on how to correct this image

I'm new to PS and I'm learning the different parts of it.  I took this picture and try to help the photographer who knows nothing about PS I would like some suggestions on how to clean and only have the sign.    I don't know about the deletion tool.  I know that the curves can lighten the object.

Yes, I want to get a Board of pen.

Here are a few things that I think to do.

    get rid of unwanted background

lighten the dark area of the sign on the left side.

The right side of the sign was a light behind

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thank you

You could follow with the tool edges just above Pen in Photoshop.  It's a good opportunity to get used to drawing the paths of access and editing Bézier points.

Then use paths to set objects on different layers.

Voila, you will have a logo that can be resized at will.

  • How to make an image in Dreamweaver CS6 Non-cliquable?

I want to do one of my images to email html unclickable.  The reason is that, when a recipient receives the html email, they are able to click on areas of the 'Image' where no link associated with the image.  This particular image I do not decide, Photoshop automatically cuts this image when "saved in HTML format" of the original pdf file.

The result when the user clicks on the image unrelated is - image (only partial) opens.  So, basically, I just want to (image) part of the unclickable email so it does not OPEN.

Here's the URL for the file: miamiorlandorealty.com/FlyerPics/Flyer.html

Once open, select all, copy and paste to email such as Outlook client and send an account Gmail.  This happens only to a user who opens Gmail via Chrome in a Windows 7 machine.  But nevertheless, I still want to write the code in the HTML body of the given image online (not the header as Gmail removes the header) to make the unclickable image.

PLEASE NOTE: In the URL above, the file works as I love it too.  In other words, the area that I refer to is "Unclickable" (upper and lower CENTER), then you won't know what I'm referring too because it only happens in Gmail/W7/Chrome Version 45.0.2454.101 m.

Looks like you say that about W7 Chrome, non-Gmail images are clickable.

If this is the case, as an experiment, try attaching a null (#) link to images that you don't want not clickable. and see how he handles the Chrome.

I do not know if this platform displays a cursor hand on unrelated images, but you can add this CSS inline.

  • How to cut regularly spaced squares of checkerboard image

I'm cutting boxes from this image so that it creates a checkerboard pattern:

    https://gyazo.com/78ac3599dd1a444207eab90a797e4055

This brown box at the top left comes from the background image that I cut out. Its size (with the Rectangle tool) is set at 108 x 108 pixels, and the image is 1080 x 1080. I want to know if there is a way for me to easily exactly do I form a checkerboard perfect image with the background image. Thanks in advance.

A very quick a dirty way to do could work this way.

The below image is 1000 pixels square

    (1) install a grid

    (2) for a table of 10 boxes in the horizontal and vertical direction you would be implemented this way

    (3) the grid will look like as below

    (4) select the pencil tool and set the spacing desired between each area and hardness set to 100%. Set a color

    for spaces

    5) click on each of the grid in turn to create a starting point, then now shift to go to the end of the grid, and then click. He's going to draw a straight line along the grid.

    (6) turn off the visibility of the lines of the grid or clear them and you should have a fairly accurate segmented model.

I'm not using scripts and a kind of multidimensional array, this can be done with 100 percent accuracy, but this isn't an area of Photoshop that I can help you. I guess it depends how precise you have to be.

  • How to cut a picture on an image and then give him the normal air?

I'm new to paintshop. I have a picture that I cut out a person, and I can do it, but after I cut the image how the image new normal appearance... For example in this picture I can cut one of the tennis people, but how do I put the net return ect...

    original image.photoshop questions.jpg

    cut the photo.photoshop questions8.jpg

The effect I'm looking for, it's that there are 2 tennis players playing a person on the other side. How do I add a layer or all I have to do to make it look real... Don't know how to fix the net. I can make the color of the ground and maybe add the white lines. I cut out person very fast just to show them. I would have taken some time to cut the person better, but it's just a picture of example for anyone.  Thanks for any info. I had a stroke a few years ago so my words are not great a few times. Thanks again for your time.

Rather than simply cut the person, make a selection of the person and use Content Aware Fill (SHIFT - F5) to remove the person. Photoshop will do a good job of filling in the selection

  • How and why to cut an Image?

I export a Photoshop design in Dreamweaver. I know HOW to cut, but I'm having a hard time finding the reason WHY cut an import image in Dreamweaver. Why not simply import the entire image, as a single whole image?

I also have difficulties in finding the best way to cut out a picture. This is very new for me. I looked at a Web page, I created there are almost 5 years (my first exposure to the design of web sites) and I cut out the top of the page in 3 images - I had two images of prominent on each side and in the middle in this context. Then I divided the central bar (with buttons) and each of the buttons made their slice/image.

However, I just found a Web site where they finally have their design cut into three images - a logo, buttons and a picture of the top layer.

This is the site I came across: http://designshack.net/articles/graphics/how-to-make-slicing-suck-less-tips-and-tricks-for-tranchage-un-psd /

My cutting looks like the picture of the opening under the heading "Killing the Clutter" of this Web site, not the image of closing (their goal) in the same section.

Why are they singling out the logo? Should I do this with my design?

Why are they including all buttons in a slice, instead of individual slices? Is this OK to do? For the purposes of the rollover image, I thought they had to be separated.

They do not save the background. Should they be? Unless they you import the background as one large image.

I appreciate those who could recommend not to slice an image and do stuff with code instead, but I don't have the knowledge to go that route and I have to cut the image.

WHY is a question. The answer is that it DEPENDS. It depends on your layout. I've never understood why people would be divides a picture say 800px x 800px in 10 pictures just of have reconnected them on the web page as an entire image (taking into account that it has no buttons, links, hot spots, etc.). 10 seprate images means that the server must send 10 different applications in order to rebuild this image. I imagine that most people get caught up in slices because they aren't sure how to build a different Web site. Unless the image is huge, it is best to apply http for a picture of 10. If a page has tons of server must like that, which only slows down the loading of the page.

Why are they singling out the logo? Should I be doing this with my design?

They can do this to create an image map or reversal of their logo image. You certainly don't want to use an image 400px x 400px if your reactive rollover image is only x 100px 30px. Unless you use an image on a bearing replacement method, sometimes it is better to create a css div or a class that defines the area for the turnaround.

OK, I have to finish my answer here... the new layout of the forum is driving me CRAZY with all these "Server internal errors"
