  I have a lot of objects stuck in our staging subinventory. I was wondering what part of the whole process moves stock.
  
  Our facility has moving stock from our CDC org with one org projects via the staging. Watching MOQD and MTM, I see some objects move in the staging and then nothing more. while others are passed to the staging, but less then moved to the projects. (A little weird, but it seems that when a smaller item, the total amount is still in EMO for staging).
  
  So where should I start looking to work, why? How stock normally move off stage? It is by the front desk, or move a previous order, or what? Where is the trigger?

  Stock (OnHand) gets reduced when shop travel interface runs.
  When we ship to confirm, there are two activities of interfacing performs, one against the management of orders and the second against the inventory.

  If a validation fails during the covering of the inventory, then onhand will not be reduced.
  for example if your articles are serial number to SO question controlled, and if you have not entered the serial number then records can get caught staging.

  Hi, you are right that there is no reminder of this event (tag moves out of the field). As you suggest, after detecting the tag in the box, you must handle errors that come from reading or writing to it.
