  But it might worked pretty good if you want to use an application like Adobe Edge animate (Note: this software will grow more, but still works). And then, "PIN" the animation to the right, using the anchors in the Muse page to reach (and perhaps even leave that dot up and down). Are you familiar with any web animation software?

  You said in addition to the clock so I initially think not that you need it however, others said it would be a good idea to show this method of date display. Also if you move the taskbar vertically the date is also displayed.
