  I have a query with a table of readonly page to display the result of the query, and there is a "Reset" button on the page (NOT reset in motion control) to clear the search results in the table.
  I try the following code to clear the contents of the search results, BUT it does not work. The data in the table is always run after the code below here.

  You can also try to call the method executeEmptyRowSet() on the view of the iterator object instance

• How to do the search results pane look like a normal folder pane? That is to say, no "Preview".

  When you are looking for an individual no matter what, the results on the right include an overview of each email. I desperately need a view as in a normal folder, IE, a list of subject/sender/data/data/location with a normal preview of the file selected below. Is this possible?

  OK, this is the text 'Open the e-mail as a list' (which is _not_ show as a button) on the line from the top of the results page. Cool. By clicking on, he opened a new tab with the results. I had to then right click on the displayed columns (sender/date etc.) to add 'location' which adds the folder that contains the items.

  When searching in Firefox, I used to be able to click on 'Search tools' and find only options for 'any country' or 'UK '. This is more so I'll have to trawl through a lot of unnecessary stuff when I want something local. Can I get that back

  I think that Google has stopped redirect EN - GB users automatically from .com to. co.uk for a reason any. When you're on .com, you really don't get country-specific options.

  What I suggest is to install a plugin of U.K. research directed to the next page and make that your default value:

  One titled "Google UK - the UK (SSL)" sounds like the best match for you.

  I think you want to substitute the dynamichtml include create_core_fields_result_set.

  Once you add in your column/one additional field, you should then be able to configure a custom search template (and add your field) and it must be able to handle the rest.

• When I look for a file in Win Explorer, I get a list of files in the search results. But some of the files seem to be missing. I get a message that the directory is not found when I try to open the search results.

  I wonder if what's on my hard drive and if what Win Explorer is on my hard drive are two different things.

  If I do a search in Win Explorer to "purple", I get a number of results.
  (To search for a file, I am in the word "Purple" in the search field in the upper right Win Explorer and pressing the "Enter" button).

  There are a couple of JPG files that I wonder about the search results.
  One example is called "purple_flowers.jpg".
  When I double-click this file in the search results to open it, my paint program opens and gives me a message that the directory is not found. If I use MS Paint to try and open it by double-clicking on the file and selecting "open with...". MS Paint", I get a message that the directory is not valid.

  The location of the directory on the error message is the blue 'Images' folder for my user. But, when I opened this file, I don't have a file with that name in this directory. The same thing happens with another JPG file, called "octopus.jpg" when I search the word 'Octopus '.

  Is this something messed up between what I have on my hard drive and think what Win Explorer is on my hard drive?
  How can I fix?
  Something must be reset in Win Explorer?

  I could have the JPG files with these names at the same time. I had a large library of images for a project, but I deleted it.
  (I tried to turn on the option to show hidden files in this directory, but that did not help).

  I moved the files in my blue images folder in another folder, delete the folder images blue, emptied the Recycle Bin and rebooted my computer.
   
  When my computer has finished its startup routines, my folder of photos blue was there! And he had the shortcut to the folder 'Sample Pictures' inside.
   
  When I searched "the Octopus" and "purple", I no longer saw these JPG files in the search results.

  By following the steps below, you can clear the history of searching for files in Windows 7.

Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.   Back up the registry

  Open Registry Editor.
  1. type regedit in the start search box and press on enter
  2. navigate to the following registry entry:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\WordWheelQuery

  3. delete the MRUListEx on the right by clicking right on pane and selecting delete.
  4. the close Registry Editor.

  Open Windows explore, test and see if the search results are deleted.

  You can choose to permanently disable lists Windows most recently used (MRU) if group policy is enabled in your edition of Windows. Group Policy Editor is only available in the professional edition, full and Windows 7 Enterprise edition. You will not have the Publisher of local group policy available in Windows 7 Starter and Home Premium editions.

  Open Group Policy Editor:

  1. click on start and in the search box type gpedit.msc
  2. now the Group Policy Editor opens. In it go to User Configuration > administrative templates > Windows components > Windows Explorer
  3. in the control panel under the gaze of Windows Explorer to disable the display of recent search entries in the search box on Windows Explorer
  4. right click and select Edit.
  5. use not configured or disabled to keep a history of search enabled.
  6. use will disable the search history.
  7 close the Group Policy Editor.

  Using the latest update of Firefox gave me a new search bar, one where I can't change quickly, search engines to the contrary having to go into a menu to do so. This is detrimental for me since I use each search engine search suggestions, I installed. I can't do that. How to move the search return bar to the previous version?

  I found a solution. If you go in Subject: config, then find the browser.search.showOneOffButtons boolean and rocking that it restores the old functionality. (You may have to restart your browser)

  Note that, as always, to edit your subject: config at your own risk.

• Messages in the search results does not and can not be found

  I run a local search in the search box in the top right of the email. There are three messages. I click on any of the three messages and message list screen is displayed, but the message is not listed.

  Is it possible to determine where these three messages are stored? They apparently still exist somewhere, but I can't find them.

  I can look for other keywords, and the search function works fine. Somehow, these three messages are stored somewhere dark.

  Thanks for any advice you can provide.

  Additional information: the left sidebar of the search results indicates that messages are in a folder that I created in local folders, but this file is not there.

  Hello Chaosdruid, This is the correct behavior, ctrl + f to open the search bar, try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables some settings and disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

  (If you are using an additional theme, place you in default theme.)

  If Firefox is open, you can restart in Mode without failure of Firefox in the Help menu by clicking on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item:

  

  If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

  • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
  • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
    (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

  Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

  

  If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
