How to find "font family" in the character Panel?

I'm sure this used to be the "failure." I'm having a problem that, when I use the character Panel to search for a particular font family, I am obliged instead to apply a font as well as the family of fonts (see image).

ceQAucY.png

As you can see above, I'm looking for "Cambria". I don't want to make my choice, but only the font Cambria one family bold or italics (or any other font). I don't know I used to be able to do this and the font of the selection have been preserved (so that the fat remained "BOLD", remained regular regular, etc., provided these fonts exist within the family of fonts), but for the life of me I can't find the option to change and no amount of research has turned up of everything related.

Can someone help me?

Well, after you have selected the options that don't seem not related, it seems that I stumbled across the solution. Rather than keep to myself and go, I'll post it here in case a person always has the same question.

As seen here, I changed the option "search first word only." Then allows me to search only the font family:

  • Why does a number appears in parentheses next to the number of font size in the character Panel? as 9pt (8.84)

I m working on a book, and when I select a title, in the font option in the character panel size appears a number in parentheses next to the number that indicates the size of the font. For example, I chose 9 pt for the title, but after I applied this seting, in font size option appears: 9pt (8.84) so the size of the cuff is 8.84 and I couldn t change that!   I compare this title with other people, whose size is 9 and is a little smaller.

I applied a paragraph Style to the headline, located in 9 pt font size, and the same appears: 9 pt (8.84) the problem is that I have a lot of headlines this ditch the book and I would like to change their size in the paragraph style and it doesn´t work, always appear a smaller number in parentheses.

I know not if I chose Auto in the option of the attack, a number in brackets appears to indicate the proportional main of the text, but it in font size option. What is going on? Can how I change this?  HEEELP please! (Sorry if I have some errors, I usually speak Spanish ) Thank you!

Are you sure the version number? Version 3 is CS and CS3 is version 5. I do not see the parentheses in CS3, but it doesn't really matter. Select the image, and then in the context menu of Palette control seek an order as "Reset scaling to 100%" which should correct the figures to represent exactly the size of the type currently is. Then fix the setting that Bob stated in your preferences.

Go to the online documentation and discover the data dictionary. You may be interested in reading about ALL_TAB_COLUMNS, but you will need to know what you want until you can query the view to find information

  • CC PS can you access all stylistic variations of the character Panel?

I posted this question in a forum that already had a similar question in it, but now I realize it was probably the wrong forum (Adobe Type forum) so I'm re-publishing in the Photoshop forum.

With Photoshop CS6, I am not able to access all stylistic variations from the character Panel OTF font. I've been going to Illustrator and selecting the glyph wished in the glyphs Panel instead. I think that I read that PS CC now has an its own glyphs Panel, but I would like to know if the character Panel now allows you to scroll through all the available substitutes without having to go through a glyphs Panel. This would be a feature that would make me consider to subscribe to PS CC.

    Hi acresofgreen,

No, there will be another sign for glyph, but you can add it to the character even Panel and save your workspace so that you don't have to fix it every time:

  • How can I insert html into the Actions Panel to format text?

I am trying to create text using html, so I could format it in html.  I created a text box, it has given an instance name, "Dynamic text" selected and clicked 'display the text in html format.  When I click F9 (go on the Panel shares) to insert my html code, I get the message "current selection cannot have actions applied to it.  Am I missing something?  How can I insert html into the Actions Panel to format text?

In order to assign html text to a textfield, you must assign your htmlText of a textfield property.  If you must give a name of uinstance to the textfield and then assign the text.  If you named the "tField" textfield, in the scenario that contains the textfield you EF text html as follows...

    tField.htmlText ="

You should watch the TextFields htmlText property in the help documents to determine the limited number of html tags that are supported by Flash.

  • How to find fonts in a document of FM10

A comrade FM10 user could tell me how I could search a document to find a particular font. The reason why I want to do is I inherited a long document and (visually) discovered a number of fonts which should have not been used. I suspect that there are more that just visually would not reveal. I had hoped FM would have a function like editing > find/replace a < font name > but it doesn't seem to be this simple.

    Thank you.

Use the pod of fonts (view > pods > fonts...) to see what fonts are used in the document, for example

Select the font you want to search/replace and eithr click the replacement of fonts ('A' with the circled arrow below) or double-click the name of the font.

You will get then replace the police Panel, which shows you all instances of the use of the fonts in the document, for example

A double click on the entries here moves the insertion point to the location where the font is used.

After inspecting, you can decide if you want to replace a replacement using the police Panel. Note: it works fine.

It depends on what you expect. If you issue count (*) you ask Oracle "how many lines there. If you issue a County () you ask Oracle 'how non null values for are there. "

    delete from
    where  is null;

Ideally you would simply place a NOT NULL constraint on the column in question, thus prohibiting NULL values into the system (assuming that your business needs, it is that the column MUST always have a value).

  • How do find no data in the table

    Hi all

I have 250 table in my diagram and when I query like this

Select * from object where type_objet = 'TABLE' and owner = 'MATTELLI.
    order by object_name CSA

Some tables have no data in it. How to find the tables that not have data or records

    Thanks and greetings
    Srikkanth.M

    Hi Srikkanth,

First of all, if you are only interested in object TABLE type, so you should better use dba_tables instead of dba_objects.
Then, assuming that your statistics are up to date, it would look like:

    SELECT *
      FROM all_tables
     WHERE owner = 'MATTELLI'
      AND num_rows > 0
     ORDER BY table_name ASC

Otherwise, you can go with a subquery and a 'select count.

  • How to find a table, using the name of the column in the database schema

    Dear all,

    Please help me on

using the name of the column, how to find a table name in the database schema.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

You can query the data dictionary views all_tab_columns and user_tab_columns.
For example, to find the tables in the scott schema have called deptno columns:

    SELECT table_name
    FROM all_tab_columns
    WHERE owner = 'SCOTT'
    AND     column_name     = 'DEPTNO';

Remember that anything inside quotes is case-sensitive.

The all_tab_columns view has one row for each column in each table (or view) that you have the privileges to use.
The user_tab_columns view is a subset of all_tab_columns, containing only your own tables (and views).
