  To find the total size of the file all updates that Windows has downloaded to your machine, you can first check all updates installed. After that, you can find its corresponding size in our Catalog Microsoft Update (using the Internet Explorer browser).

  Follow the steps below to view all the updates that are installed on your device:

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Under the Control Panel, set the view by small icons , and then click Windows Update.
  3. Click installed updates.

  You can also manually download Windows Update from the Microsoft Update Catalog and save it in an external storage device and transfer it to your device to another.

  Updates can be classified as an option or Important. Updates option would differ usually from one device to the other. This is why we suggest that you check the list of Windows Update available through our Catalog Microsoft Update.

  From the Windows Update Catalog, you can check the updates of Windows has rolled out over the past 10 months, or whatever the date you prefer and download those of a machine can install on another. • Reinstalled Vista on my Gateway computer. There are 2 users, how to find the files saved by Windows before reinstalling?

  My C drive was blue screens so that I couldn't get into my computer and it became useless. I'm a total computer not so smart person, (politically correct too) :) In any case, after finding how to get in safe mode and fishing around a solution, I got the solution from scratch.   So I took the option that would save all user files before reinstaling the operating system which is original bought the 2008 version. Vista 32-bit. Yes I know it's old but it works again. So since then I tried to get it updated and secure. Gateway won't help me at all, of course, out of warranty and all. So I downloaded the service Pack 1 and 2 for vista and all the security updates and Microsoft security essentials and IE9. So now I'm finally back to normal, which I think is a relative term.

  So now, I want to find all the files of the user who have been registered by windows before the reinstall took place. My folders and files from my sister. Treatment of text and pictures and stuff.

  If you used the Auromatic backup gateway, they say that the files are in the C:\Backup folder on the hard drive.

  The key must be connected to your computer. If this is not the case, contact the manufacturer of the computer or the store you bought it from.

  If you bought a computer with Windows preinstalled would a certificate of authenticity (COA) sticker somewhere on your computer. It will say what version of Windows you have and will also have an alphanumeric code at 25 on it - this is your product key. If it is not on your computer look in your documents or on any case of CD/DVD that was included with the computer.

  When you download files, Windows usually saves them in the Downloads folder which is located under your user name in the users disk folder
  where Windows is installed (for example your namepersonal C:\users\). When you save the file, you can choose to save it in a different folder.
  By default, some file types are saved in different folders.

  There is nothing from Microsoft that opens and says that you have to pay. You can enter the store of Windows update, but which doesn't sound like what you are doing.
  I would say that you need to run anti-virus software and anti malware program to check your system... sounds like you have a bug.

  Isn't the PC I need to install the PC Companion software ' net connection (in a housing of temp at this time).

  Does not know the location of a complete install this software in the file with all the apps included?

  I have now just seems to have installed a shell that downloads apps from the ' net at the request, which may seem like a nice way of doing things if this is useful, but can be very frustrating / impossible with limited / spottty / no ' net access, obvisouly.

  We currently do not have any file installation that includes all of the components. But perhaps you could use tie in your phone to connect the PC to the internet? You can share the internet connection with a PC using WiFi, USB or bluetooth under settings->-> tethering & portable hotspot phones.
