  If you are on the same machine, the only service that you absolutely need to start is the database service.  In your case OracleServiceSYSDBA (hmmm... How did you find with this name?).

  For queries, you can use SQL * Plus which should also be installed.  If you want something GUI, you can use SQL Developer (you need to install separately I think).

  I have some work for a charity that sends computers in East Africa a few years ago.
  These PC came from banks, insurance companies, lawyers & law firms - a lot of
  potentially sensitive data. Much of the company to simply delete the
  files, which, as we all know is not really effective.

  The first thing we did with each machine was Dban them - no work allowed the
  any PC until it had a sticker of Dban top. Never had any problems.

I have a cloud application that would access this server. I tried to find online if I could rent servers for a week for the test database with no luck.   Go to the online documentation and discover the data dictionary. You may be interested in reading about ALL_TAB_COLUMNS, but you will need to know what you want until you can query the view to find information

  check with who ever is privilleges to kill these perticluar session, if you have few users.
  It is not possible to findout without verification or error info... etc.
  Otherwise, restart these jobs perticluar and follow closely.

  If your cannot open page in jdev, then copy the page (xml file) from the server and save to anywhere on your local computer, which opened in Notepad, here you can find the ID of your button required. However, the norm is to open the page in jdev
