How to get a transparent background in CS4?

I have a Mac computer and follow the tutorials of Lynda.com, but I was not able to find anything on how to do to erase the background of a photo so that I can give him a different background.  Could someone help me?

No problem glad that I could help him. All the best.

  • How to make a transparent background when editing

    Hello

I was wondering how to get a transparent background in flash.  I did a lot of research and have seen many forums, but I don't want my file to export to HTML.  Is it possible to have a transparent background, with some having to have a HTML file?  I try this enter into Camtasia Studio, but there is a white rectangle behind the animation, blocking all the rest.

    Thank you

You export a video to enter in Camtasia? If, therefore, in the export options video there is a checkbox to say to ignore the color of the scene and to generate an alpha channel. Don't say to compress the video in Adobe Media Encoder, just take the MOV file in Camtasia.

If you say that Camtasia supports importing of SWF files, then it would be Camtasia to make the background transparent.

You will also need to save in a format that supports transparency - as PNG. JPEG does not work.

  • Is it possible to get a transparent background for text and to vary the color of the text of the black and white?

By the question, you can obviously tell that I am a newbie in InDesign. I have a cover of the album I'm working on, and the printer says that exit Photoshop will be rasterized and InDesign is better for clarity. However, in Photoshop, it's easy to overlay text on a chart where the text background is transparent, so the graph through, and it is also easy to change the color of the text if you wish.

Change the opacity of the slghtly even filling in a text box in InDesign appears to degrade the quality of the text in a substantial way. I do something wrong, and is it possible to get a transparent background around that? And also, text must be only shades of black and white and no other colors?

I would appreciate anyone who can take the time to respond to what is probably something obvious to most of you.

I realized that I forgot to include the screen Cap illustration. I'm sorry.

I seem to be brain dead on terminology, too. The density of Tint slider is clearly labeled hue, no opacity, nuances and not creat a transparent color.

  • Can not get the Transparent background in Adobe Flash Professional CS4

I am wanting to create a moving object that will be exported in a tv spot.

Object has already been created in Adobe Illustrator and now will be abandoned in flash for the addition of movement.

The commercial destination will be created in Sony Vegas, with parameters of (Australian) television PAL (25 fps, 576 x 720 pixels, lower field first).

So now simple, I want to put Adobe flash with the same output format, which means that the canvas must be 576 x 720 pixels at 25 frames per second.  So far, this seems to have worked very well.

Now, I am eager to get rid of the color of the canvas, just as I have here in this screenshot of photoshop.

    Background 02.JPG
Judging by the color palette in Flash Professional, looks like it's impossible.  I checked "transparent palette" through yahoo and google and had no results.  Only the adobe documentation details how to remove a background in Photoshop.

Can someone tell me please how to get transparent background in Adobe Flash Professional CS4.  Thank you

As much as I know there no option to set a file with a transparent background in Design view.  A transparent background is normally performed in the code of a page integration web html that displays the Flash file (using wmode = "transparent" as a parameter).

  • How can I get a transparent background to place in the field of the image?

I created a form of shelf Strip for our sellers to use in trade where they can type in their own prices and the palce the necessary logo for any package. I saved the logos that we use as a wih file png transparent background because that's what LiveCycle is supported, but when I place the logo in the image field it comes up with a white background. How can I fix? I was aware of this Support from Adobe.

    Hello

You can, BUT you must save the PNG (in something like Photoshop) to 'Save for web' PNG 8-bit.

If you look at the example here: http://assurehsc.ie/blog/index.php/2010/05/moving-objects-around-a-form/ you will see that the white model is a PNG with transparency on a rectangle of solid color:

There is also another example here: https://acrobat.com/#d=l97EOha0PILOh82BO68Pqg

The behavior is documented (I think) - LC Designer supports PNG 8-bit transparency.

    Hope that helps,

  • How to export with Transparent background

I've created a logo in Freehand 10, and I need to export to EPS with a background transparent to be placed in an InDesign document. How to export the file with a transparent background?

    Thank you!
    -Elisha

    > Please excuse my lack of experience, but can you please explain what you mean
    > by "no image on the screen?

In general the content of eps (encapsulated postscript) files cannot be considered with page layout programs and even. So a picture of the screen must be included for the investment. When the document is printed on a postscript printer or exported to pdf that the screen image is omitted and the postscript code is used. In this case it is not ' What you see is what you get ", but" what you get is what you see not ".". "

In Windows, the screen image has always been an opaque bitmap image but in mac screen image can be "cut". In both platforms, however, the postscript output is the same, i.e. without background.

    > I tried export as Illustrator 7, but it was only a gray in box
    > InDesign. I'm waiting on approval to buy the upgrade to Illustrator CS3.

I don't know if InDesign CS2 can display the contents of the eps, Mac and Windows files. I just tried export eps and Freehand and they have worked well in InDesign CS3 Windows.

File eps without the screen image generally appear as white box and all images in grey if Disply Performance form quickly Disply in InDesign. In order to check the display settings InDesign.

Also try to export eps with an image on the screen.

If the logo is simple with just of contour objects, it can be copypasted in InDesign as well. In FreeHand "copy special" and select the Clipboard format.

  • How to insert a transparent background in DreamWeaver CC 2015

I'm new to the suite Adobe CC and I use a little bit in my computer hardware and web design class, but we mainly used Microsoft Front Page 2003 to learn how to create Web sites. I would use DreamWeaver because I subscribe to the CC range. I am trying to build my a site for my DJ business and the problem I have is to find a way to insert a transparent background in DreamWeaver. I downloaded the background din model and what I learned in front page, it's that you insert the background .gif format file. How can I add a background transparent in DreamWeaver if it is possible? I use the Page Simple template under the category of basic layouts. I would like to have a link to a guide step by step video tutorial on how to do this. I'm on a Mac under OS X El Capitan, but I can follow the steps of a tutorial for Windows as well.

There are several ways to do so, the quickest way to add a mosaic as a background image pattern would be of...

    1. open the page

    2. go in modify > Page Properties

    3. under appearance, set the background Image or navigate to the template

  • Impossible to get the transparent background to work on PS

I chose the background transparent when I put the file I created. When I go to save it, it saves the full white background. Why is he not allowed to be transparent?

As I said in the first response, a jpg file that can contain transparency. It must be saved as a PSD or TIFF. Once it has been saved as a jpg file, resave as PSD, unchanged, will not save transparency. In other words, your comment: when it was created it shows her transparent but saved in JPEG format, white is normal. To repeat: start with a transparent background and save as PSD or TIFF.

Click on the white area outside the yellow circle with the magic wand tool.

  • How can I have transparent background on b/w of drawing?

I have a lot of technical drawings saved as tiff files requiring the transparent outside bottom while retaining the white background in the drawings.  I need this so that I can put the drawings in other documents created in ID CS4 and AI CS4.  No idea how I can achieve this?

    Thank you

    Mel

I would say your best bet is to use the magic wand tool, (make sure contiguous + anti-aliasing are verified both) and select the area around the outside of the drawing, then use the button [refine edge...] close the boxes to check and adjust the settings of the edge and finally, remove the outer.  Make sure that the layer you are editing is not a background layer and if this is the case, right click on the background layer, then select "background layer".

    Hope that helps!
