  Hey there!

  I'm going to build a Web site where I have the list of some products on a master page and can be clicked to go into details.

  I do it through the Insert > data objects > page master detail and it works very well...

  but I can't filter the results of the master page with a menu drop-down.

  Can anyone help? I'm in a bit of desperation ;-)

  Yes, this is what happens - you will be variable on the page of search results page. The variable name is what you called the drop, as MyDropDown. The value is what is the value of the selected item. So, now on the results page, create your recordset. As we use only a variable as a filter, use the simple mode. Working up and down in the dialogue window, name the Recordset, select the connection and the table.  Below, yo have four entries/selections to make. Select the database column that is filtered, in the other, select '='. Below on the left select "Variable form". The text box to the right of that will be pre populated with the name of the column. Replace it with the variable name, the name of the drop-down list on the page of research - such as "MyDropDown", without the quotes, or anything else. Click Test and you will be presented with a window asking for a value - enter any value that is contained in the menu drop down and ensure that the recordset object gives results and only records with that value. If it works, save it and're you good to go. If this isn't the case, then we will do some troubleshooting.

  I'm having a problem with a dynamic drop down based on instances of subform.  Here's my question:

  Subform1 = value 1 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = Subform1 to 1 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = value 2 to Subform1
  Subform2 = value 3 to Subform1

  Subform1 = value 2 and is repeatable
  Subform2 = Subform1 to 1 and is repeatable

  I can fill my first run down the 1 subform values by the following:

  If the value 2 (Subform1) is selected in the drop down, I want the secodn drop-down is populated with the value 1 (Subform2) and the value 2 (Subform2) and 3 (Subform2) value for 2 value Subform1.

  I appriciate any help I could get on it.

• Windows XP mode - 7: how to get the Realtek Audio Drivers with GS Wavetable outside normal? Instead of RDP Audio driver!

  1. I upgraded my comp to Windows 7, Ultimate because I need to use many XP programs. What I've discovered, is the virtual XP Mode is not the same thing as XP regular and many programs do not run properly. Particularly theAudio out to lunch and MS GS Wavetable is not available in XP Mode.

  2 - I end up having to buy another XP-Professional and installed in the same notebook. I have to turn off the laptop restart and select the Windows 7 to XP operating system. All old programs work fine under XP.

  3 - I continued looking for a fix for the XP Audio Mode or virtual. Almost 2 years now, I can not find such a simple solution.

  4. today, I found something on the Microsoft RDP Audio driver. What is the reason? Anyone know?

  5. are there available MS drivers or resources?

  I'm not interested in the commercial programs or attempts to scan my computer. MS sold Windows 7 that can run XP so I think that Microsoft is responsible for fixing.

  I am fairly new to this, but I think it has to do with the way you have drop them downs named. Copy you a then keep stick in each area? If so, that's the problem. You must rename each with a different number: Dropdown1, Dropdown2, etc. I think this might solve the problem.
