How to get rid of add-on compatibility check window initially to the top of the browser

I have no further details

Today I tried again and managed to solve two problems I had after update of Ff v.11 (the other was on the startpage repeated indicating that I had updated to Firefox).
Anyway, he had to do with the settings in C:\Documents and Settings\Eigenaar\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\7ncim4uy.default

Weekend = owner

So resolved and thank you.

  • HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p045nd: how to get rid of drivers Audio Beats on Windows 10

    Hello!

First of all, I don't like the Beats Audio software. The sound is really compressed and sounds really bad.

I used to have Windows 8.1 and at that time, I could simply uninstall the audio drivers and Windows installed a generic.

Some time ago I updated to Windows 10 and pilots were back...

I tried the same trick to remove them as I did in point 8.1 of Windows, but it does not work. I tried everything I could find on the internet to get rid of it, but nothing works.

He comes back and I can't find a way to uninstall the beats.

    I have a Realtek chipset.

Anyone got a solution to remove Beats Audio and install a generic driver (flat eq)?

    Kind regards

    Lunatic

HP will never be nothing more on audio Beats.

Despite the many complaints, HP never gave the visitors the possibility to withdraw the Beats audio facility and just install a generic audio driver IDT or Realtek.

Windows 10 installation or upgrade a version of Windows or even do a Windows update in your current version of Windows, can automatically install the device driver for your device. Under normal conditions, that's what you want, but in this case, this means also having to be stuck with Beats audio filters. As far as I could gather with my limited knowledge of device drivers, the Beats audio is just some jointly installed software filters when you install the driver for your audio device. You would think that this would make the separation of the pilot and beats filters (filters Beats are actually just made by different companies and sleuthed together), but that has not happened so far. Probably all reasons contractual nonsense.

So far the only 'solution' is to revisit the pilot standard windows audio of such.

I say we leave the Realtek HD audio driver installed, because it can automatically return to the update of Windows or during the uninstallation.

All you have to do is to go into Device Manager (icon on the Windows contextual menu-> click-> Device Manager click Open: his video, game controllers-> click on the tab for device-> driver driver uppdate button-> Browse software-click my computer for driver software-> let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer) Select high definition Audio Device, click Next and follow the instructions to install it.

Who should install the Microsoft version of the audio driver and could not properly the tsar your speakers, but will bypass the Beats audio filters.

    Hope it helps you too.

  • How to get rid of a search not intentionally installed "tab" to update the new version of Java JRE?

Since Oracle surprisingly quickly announced an update of Java JRE (7.11 update), Jan 14, available todag I install naturally. Despite being very careful with all unwanted program providers are trying to impose on the innocent user, I always have a f * ck * thing-same to tab search ng in my line of tabs. I don't want or need, and it occupies valuable space. The evil rats who created this stinky sh * t were very careful hide all the simple ways of removing - it is not (as far as I can see) are everywhere in my lists of Add-ons or extensions. I tried to watch: config, but I am totally inexperianced with this and do not dare to change: in fact, I can't find anything usable.

Anyone who has a suggestion how to get rid of that junk qualified? My FF is the Swedish version, that's why I stuck with raw data in the troubleshooting information. If there is a possibility here to add a screenshot of the thing, I would have.

The tab looks like the image below? If so, did you not as a Java Update. Have you downloaded the update of Java on the Java site or elsewhere? It was expected that some less honest people would provide false updates to Java. If it looks like the image below, follow these steps:

    1. With all browsers closed, in Control Panel > programs and features (or add / remove programs), if you see "Default tab" delete (you have no default tab 1.4.3 in the list of add-ons/prefs you have submitted with your question)
    2. Launch Firefox and check that 'Default tab' is not in the Add-ons > Extensions; If it is click on 'Remove' and then restart Firefox.
    3. You may need to set your homepage in Firefox, if a search page leading to 'Search results' or "My search results" is displayed at the start of Firefox - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page
    4. You may need to remove the 'search results' or "My search results" in your list of installed search engines in the top search bar on the right (click on the image to the left of the search bar, then choose "Manage search engines") - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-bar-easily-choose-your-search-engine#w_removing-a-search-engine
    5. You may need to reset your default search engine used for looking for location/URL bar by resetting the preference keyword. URL - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/search-web-address-bar#w_changing-the-internet-keyword-service
    6. You may need to reset a preference if 'Search results' or "My search results" appears as a search engine every time you open a new tab (follow steps 1 to 4 in the image below to determine which opens when you click to open a new tab; see Subject: config use above)- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/new-tab-page-show-hide-and-customize-top-sites#w_how-do-i-turn-the-new-tab-page-off

  • ESXi 4 - how to get rid of snapshots manually?

    Hi all

on an ESXi 4, ran more disk space. Reason is that there were several snapshots for a virtual machine. After moving other virtual machine in another data store the shots were engaged by the use of the Snapshot Manager.

The snapshots disappeared from the hierarchy of the instant Manager as expected.

    So far so good.

However, the snapshot files has not disappeared from the data store. And: The files are always needed to start the virtual machine, as they are concatenated sort according to the configuration file and start-log. In first vmdk-data of the config file it seems to contain some information about the geometry of the disc etc inside?

In addition, the size of the 1st disk could not become changed by the settings dialogue vSphere-Client-as this is the 2nd drive.

How to combine snapshots or what to do to get rid of unused snapshots and delete files? In the end, I didn't have one for the 1st disk vmdk file. (Without any reference to the old clichés but never used.)

    Suspicion and advice is appreciated.

    Thank you and best regards

    Ralf

Something strange is happening here. Although the disc is identified as "Thick" configured in the properties of the virtual, the vmdk Watch ddb.thinProvisioned = "1" file computer that could explain the size of GB ~ 26, displayed in the datastore Explorer! In this case, you would not be able to commit snapshots, because you have only 19GB of disk space and you temporarily need at least 45 ~ 50 GB.

Could you do another check please and run a ls-lisa on the command line to check the size of the vm01sbsdc020 - flat hard.

You have another VMFS at least 70 GB data store (better more) free space on the disk? In this case, we could go the safe way and to clone the virtual disk without touching the original of the vmdk files.

    André

PS: Add "... because you have only 19GB of disk space and you need at least temporarily ~ 45-50 GB." in order to clarify the reason for which the snapshot cannot be removed with thin basic disk put in service.

  • Adware? And how to get rid of?

Since last week when I'm redirected to a game at random navigation site. First of all, I thought it was just something to do with Firefox (the browser I used), but then the same thing happened with other browsers too. I then installed Opera to judge if it would happen again and Yes, it happened. Then I tried to reinstall the whole OS, hoping that would solve the problem. There can be no. I always get redirected to a site "yu0123456". How to get rid of this? I installed AdGuard so it blocks me enter the site, but still not open tabs. After the reset of the operating system (I also erased the hard drive), I did not visit malicious sites. I just downloaded programs I had before that happens again (steam, Spotify, discord). I tried to scan my Mac with Malware Antibytes, but he found nothing. If it's harmless, I could live with that, but it's very irritaring. If there is a chance he could phis my information, so I want that he removed as soon as possible. What can I do?

    Thanks in advance!

Adware is usually not malicious. Its purpose is to push ads into your face. Adware makers get a fraction of a payment of one hundred whenever an ad is shown. That's their motivation.

You say wipe you the drive, but if you restored a backup Time Machine or Migration Wizard to restore your applications and the user account, you managed that by copying the problem at the back.

MalwareBytes for Mac can't catch everything. The adware manufacturers are constantly changing which moved things and which appoints the files have. It's a job without end for manufacturers of MalwareBytes to catalogue these items, so they can be found and removed. But of course he is not hurt anything to use as it can remove a lot of problems for you, leaving only the new elements, unknown to locate and remove manually.

Depending on where you have steam, Spotify and discord, the installers may have been (and often are) responsible for the installation of adware and you want to install.

Download and run EtreCheck. Copy and paste the results here. It is written and maintained by long time forum member etresoft. Any personal information is automatically excluded from the output. The goal is to see what processes are running on your Mac. From there, they can usually determine what is wrong.

  • How to get rid of a popup offering to remember my password that appears in the upper left corner?

Yes, this popup is annoys me no end! It appears each time I fill in a password anywhere! It is more or less said: "Do you remember this password?". first of all I didn't know what program did this, but now I know that it is Mozilla Firefox. Why so many of (and undesirable too) want to pop-up windows to 'help' when in fact what they do is irritate the person and not even identify the program. It is a parody of the worst kind! You do not?

If anyone knows how to get rid of it forever, please let me know? Thank you very much! Adelaa

If you want to just disable this for a specific domain, you can click the drop-down list and click "never for this site". Otherwise, you can go to the Security section of the firefox preferences (enter ' subject: preferences #security ' in the address bar) and uncheck "remember passwords for sites".
