How to get rid of Free Sound Recorder toolbar and search engine

OpenOfficeOrg, Schirmfoto and YouTube Music Downloader are excellent freeware programs.  They do what I want.   But beware of the freeware in all.  My problem is with Free Sound Recorder.  It's something I wanted, and it's freeware, so I downloaded it.  I took care to uncheck both boxes before installation that would have included the Free Sound Recorder toolbar and search engine, but these unwanted extras have been installed in any case and appear at the top of every browser I use.  I used Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall the bar tools and search engine, but not good.  So I uninstalled Free Sound Recorder completely, but I still stunk toolbar and search engine.  Worse yet, the additional toolbar fattens the top of my browser and did some research in Facebook a lot harder.  I contacted the seller four or five times to help him remove their parasites, but I receive no answer.  I did not restore the system, and after three weeks, or so the clock is ticking as the system restore only so far back in time.  Thank you.

Thank you.  Too bad FreeSoundRecorder didn't provide me with the link that you have done, but after having informed the I had filed a complaint against them to their State Attorney general's Office, I received a quick apology and instructions for disabling or removing their toolbar.  A toolbar add-on takes place at the top of your browser and, for me, doing research on Facebook very difficult.

I like some of the freeware, I mostly OpenOfficeOrg, but with a few exceptions, my experience with the freeware has been disappointing.  I'd caution anyone to remember the old adage: 'if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably

    For your model, the sound bar osd is provided by HP MediaSmart SmartMenu.

    You can just uninstall it since entering programs and features or simply to prevent it from running at startup - you can make the later steps.

    Hold down the Windows key and press R. For the run box, type msconfig and press ENTER. In the next window, click on the Startup tab, uncheck the box next to HP MediaSmart SmartMenu and then click apply and then click OK to make the change. Restart the notebookfor this change to take effect.

    According to the description, it seems you are trying to delete videos from Xbox movies.
    By default the video app will appear in the video window Library locations, and then the video application can detect the content automatically from the video library.
    I suggest you open Windows Video Library and check if the videos are there are.
    a. in Windows 8 start screen, tap or click out of office. This will open the classic view from the office.
    b. tap or click File Explorer (the Manila folder next to the icon of Internet Explorer icon).
    c. under libraries, tap or click on videos.

    Since my safari seems to be infected I checked the net and found this thread on top that has been resolved, but it is not for me.

    I guess I downloaded an installer and it installed a malware that affects all the interactions of my navigation! Yes it's called Searchme, no I have no extensions in my preferences, I also have a pop up window coming often asking me to verify my mackeeper which I don't have in my computer at all!

    Everywhere wherever I am "BOLD" words and symbols and every time I click on something it opens many windows and one always come for a quiz feedback supposed to get free iphones etc...

    I don't know how to get rid of those that I have looked everywhere and found nothing! I guess my pirate safari and I can't find how to have it cleaned.
