  You use DAQmx?  To change the assignment of the data acquisition channels, you must close the currently open session and then create a new session with the new channel definition.  So the order of execution:

  C:\Windows\system32\config\system is one of the files that make up the system registry.  Backups of the system registry files are kept in the 'C:\System Volume Information' folder under the system restore program.  Probably all you need to do is copy of registry backups in the Windows\system32\config folder.  A reinstall of windows may not be necessary.

  To do this is to start your machine from a free "Live Linux" thumb drive.  You can create a startup disk Ubuntu here:

  Follow the instructions of "Try me" and you should be able to copy backups of registry in place.  Windows has "Hidden doubling" the System Volume Information folder, but Linux doesn't seem to have any problems with it.  After starting from the Thumb Drive Linux, follow the instructions in the following article from part 2, step 6, using the graphical interface of Linux to copy files (right click copy, make a right click Paste) instead of the lines of command in the article.  With a little patience, you can restore the registry from a backup, and be back in operation

  I'm not sure when this happened, but I just got back from vacation and I tried to apply a preset to a group of photos. It applied only to the first picture. I know that I was able to do this in the past so I was wondering if it has changed in an update or in the preferences. I had version 2.6 and it did not work and I've just updated to version 2.7 and it still does not. Does anyone have any insite? I don't want you must manually add the same settings to 800 photos!   It's the help doc (search help for 'sync'):

  Synchronize settings with multiple photos

  If you work in the development or the library module, you can use the Synchronize command to apply some development parameters of the current photo to other photos selected in the Filmstrip. (The current photo is indicated by a white border more light in the miniature of the film).

  Note: When only one photo is selected in the film, the sync settings command is not available. In the develop module, the sync button becomes the back button; in the library module, the sync settings button is inactive.

  Shift-click to select the other pictures on the Filmstrip to synchronize with the current photo and then do one of the following:

  • In the develop module, click the sync button, or choose settings > sync settings. Select the settings to copy, and then click on synchronize.
  • In the module development, Ctrl + click (Windows) or Cmde (Mac OS) the sync button to change it to the Auto Sync button. Then, drag the sliders or make adjustments to the current photo, and the same adjustments are automatically made to the other selected photos. Click the Auto Sync button to exit Auto Sync.
  • In the library module, click the sync settings button, or choose Photo > develop settings > sync settings. Select the settings to copy, and then click on synchronize.
    All the settings that you may have previously selected or deselected in the copy settings dialog box are also defined by default in the dialog box sync settings.

  If you don't want to apply the changes to all images, then select only some of them.  If you want to only check the settings you want to update in the Synchronization dialog box only apply some settings to multiple images.

  Currently I am able to disply SeriesName (e.g. salary or Comm) on the 2D chart. This is done by including {% SeriesName} Custome XML.

  But I am unable to detect which series name, the user clicks on - pay is comm.  for example, I am not able to enter the name of the series clicked and set it to a hidden item (called P38_SERIES_NAME).  I have to use JavaScript to achieve this? If so, how?

  The reason why I want to use the unique sql is due to that I will have to call a function to return the dynamic and running sql code, I don't know how many series I. i.e. could be comm, average age, salary, bonus etc...

  What is the easiest way to achieve this?   I use APEX 4.2 and Oracle 11 g.

  Susanna,

  What you experience is the difference between session state and the value of the element on the page. The URL you have is generated on the rendering of the page and use the value of current session state of the question right now. Then when the page is on the client side and that you set the value of the item through javascript this value is still next to the customer and not in session state. Put the value in session state would not matter, however, because the link has already been made. Your best option is to send the page, ensuring the correct value is set to session state and use a branch in present after the process to redirect the user to the correct page.
