How to hide an update, error 0X8007064C

I get an error 0X8007064C I found that this security update is already in my computer or superseceded and I want to hide.

John,

What is the name of the update? (Number of KB)

Error code when you use the Windows Update Web site or the Microsoft Update Web site to install updates: "0x8007064C.

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/958055>

I. - Stop the automatic updates service:

Start > run > (type or copy/paste) services.msc > [OK]
Double-click automatic updates > click stop
(Stopping the service will take a moment)

II. - remove the contents of the download file:

Start > run > (type or copy/paste) %windir%\SoftwareDistribution > [OK]
Open the download folder and delete its content
Close the window.

III. - Open Internet Explore (only!) to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com & run a CUSTOM scan. Uncheck the box/deselect (for example,KB951847) and hide ("don't show me this update"). -right click it once HIDE

Tip: If an update of root certificates is listed in updates software optional (in the menu on the left), install it to take full advantage of enhanced Internet Explorer security, but do NOT install any other optional software , nor updates optional hardware , just hide them, too.

IV. - start the automatic updates service:

Start > run > (type or copy/paste) services.msc > [OK]
Double-click automatic updates > click Start
(Starting the service will take a moment)
