How to hide text 3D circular or cylindrical with geometry options & hardware?

Hello, guys, I'm trying to turn this text around this planet After Effects CS6.

I do a basic assumption - please correct me if I'm wrong. (I'm sure you want!) I understand that I can't have two 3D objects (or in this case, two objects 2D with 3d effects applied) in the same 'scene' (as it is called in Photoshop.) I can't do it in other words, have the planet and the text in orbit in the same layer, while the planet naturally hides the rear side of the text in orbit. I am limited to what the planet on one layer and the text on another, correct?

My goal: make a shiny, reflective, text extruded, make goaround in a circle with the text on the back side of the hidden circle in order to show the text in orbit to disappear behind the planet.

Okay, given that the above hypothesis is correct, I see two ways to do this, but (as far as I can tell) each method seems to have its advantages and disadvantages:

1. I can apply the effect CC cylinder to my text.

BENEFITS:

-This is a very convenient option to make the full bottle just outside or inside. I chose outside as I want the text to appear to turn on the front of the planet.

-I can add a mask to hide part of the remaining text visible when necessary.

-Some integrated lighting controls.

CON:

-No choice of materials so that I can not add a layer of the environment to get these cool ideas that will really impress the client. (Yes, I use the traced the beam 3D rendering engine.)

2. I can apply 3D revolve around circle Animation preset to my text.

PRO:

-J' have the options of material and geometry to make cool reflections.

CON:

-No option "go Outside" and I know that you can't add a mask to a layer of Ray-Traced. (Correct?) I guess I could make these 6 seconds for the video and then hide this layer of film, but when the before text is right in front of the text back, it would be a mask really complex to have to do.

Here's what I mean:

http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=Y9FcD-BX-SG & feature = PLCP

That boring white flat text that looks like it was cut with paper, that's what I'm looking to replace it with something nicer.

Any ideas, suggestions? Is there another way to achieve this goal, I just don't know yet?

I use the latest version After Effects CS6 on a 27 "iMac, run OSX7.4.

Thank you!

HOLY BEEP BEEP! It worked! I can't believe! I've been hitting my head against the wall with this problem for days! I just went to the AE, one of the layers was already 3D, I clicked on the other and BOOM! The text went behind the planet! A simple click and my problem was solved! It's me, jumping up down and (virtually) caress and kiss you! Thank you very much!

    Is that all of the same date? I guess there is no protection against the change.

    You can use the redacting tools to remove throughout the document. In the case of a date that is the living text (which is not part of an image), I think you can find it under the tools > Protection > search for and remove text.

  • How to hide text when you perform a mouseover?

    I guess I need to use a tip Action and understand the Action fairly easily, but only part can not see to understand what needs to be part of the FI. Any help will be appreciated.

    I don't like break it will... but it was not a perfect world for thousands of years now.  And it is not improving.

    Captivate is an obvious LACK when it comes to mouseover events to trigger interactivity.  There is a new widget to HTML5 which will soon release that addresses this issue, but you will have to wait for her.  And as it's ONLY for HTML5, you can't use it with output SWF.

    If you use SWF, there is a handler for Infosemantics widget that allows you to trigger actions mouseover and mouseout/mouseouthandler().

    I have several layers of text I want to hide a background layer, which is a moving image.

    Text layers are displayed in chronological order to make a sentence (and I need it on several layers of positioning). The first word mask works great, but none of the other texts/masks until the end showing that they are on the lower layers and are hidden

    I also want the hidden area to be black.

    I have enclose a picture that shows what I want, but imagine every word is on a different layer, appear in the order and are surrounded black.

    Text animations to reveal your text. Use the text layer as a track for the video cache. All that is required is two layers.

    If you insist to have each word on a separate layer, you need to precompose your layers of animated text, and then use the demo as a matte alpha for your video.

  • How to hide the overlap of lower securities with larger dimensions

    The clips I put on higher securities are smaller. That's why some of the image of the tracks less shine through. I know that I could go through the trouble of adding another track which is all black. But is there not an easier way using video effects?

    OK, I found the solution.

    You can add the "Alpha Adjust" effect to the clip.  Then select the checkbox ignore Alpha.  This causes all of the space not filled in black go. Perfect.

    Is there a way to set this as a default effect on all levels? Currently I plan simply paste the attributes of another clip 'adjusted alpha' whenever I have add - on.

    Hello
    Is these reports are prepared on 11g or migrated from the previous version.

    In any case, to test it, - create a report from scratch on 11 g and run it, also check the footer to all the lines on the subject.
    I hope that you can identify the question to redo the thing for testing

    Good luck

  • How to type vertical text from the bottom up with the right orientation for a graph?

    How to type vertical text from the bottom up with the right orientation for a graph?

    Hello! Below, I'll demonstrate how to have vertical text in two different ways.

    Example 1:

    1. below, I have a graph and want to label the vertical axis.

    Select the text tool, and then the Vertical text tool.

    2 with the vertical Type tool, I tap on my vertical label.

    3 with the move tool, then I can orient the text in a position desired, as shown in the examples below.

    If this isn't the desired orientation of the vertical type you would like. I have the example 2 below.

    Example 2:

    1. After typing my text vertically with the Vertical Type tool (in example 1), I want to move to a horizontal position. I can go up to the options panel and select the icon "show/hide text orientation", surrounded by below. It will pass the text back and forth between vertical and horizontal.

    2 after the passage of the text to be horizontal, I want to change the orientation of the text, so it is aligned with my vertical axis.  Go in Edit > transform > Rotate as shown below.

    3 you want to can Rotate the text as indicated below.

    4 text is not in the right position we want, so we have to move the text, as illustrated below. Press enter/return to perform the complete transformation.

    5. the text is shown below.

  • How to hide a menu if one of the values of it was selected but not others?

    Thanks looking for this forum, I was able to understand how to hide pull down and fields who have no digital information in them. IE, if the user selects. or if the conversion value is zero. The element show or print on the form.  What I can't find, it's how you do it if the values in the pulldowns are text? That is the drop down menu has three options "choose an item", "ITEM 1", "ITEM 2". It is default to "choose an article" and this way, I want to be hidden or the value null, but if the POINT 1 or 2 are selected. Then it shows/prints POINT 1 or 2 POINT in place.

    Thank you for your help on this issue.

    I thought about it

    and must give congratulations to George Johnson because of an answer he gave in 2008 told me the solution.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/1152008

    First of all, I assigned a calculated value for each of the text elements.

    So here is my script.

    Get the value of the field

    var v1 = + getField("Description1").value;

    If the value is not equal to 0, then use the value

    If (v1! == 0) {}

    Event.Value = v1;

    } else {}

    If the value is equal 0 empty then the value

    Event.Value = "";

    }
