  Hi all!

  I have a picture of a bottle containing a reddish cinnamon liquid.  There is a line of text on the bottle which needs to stand out much better...  Screenshot attached of the actual bottle of samples, close them up.

  Can anyone suggest how to get the text to pop w/o touching the back at all?  I played a lot with the levels, but it doesn't help; the background reflects the changes.  And it is almost impossible to get a good selection on the text portion (unless I do this pixel by pixel).

  Hoping that someone with much better PS smarts can give me an overview.  If possible, I will probably need almost the instructions.

  I hope that you can start with a very focused image, then:

  Select > range of colors... and choose white lettering

  Lead the two sliders all the way to the right and click OK

  Cmd + J to move the selection on its own layer. Lock the transparent part of the layer using the symbol at the top of the layers panel

  Change the blending mode of the layer to screen

  Hold down the Option key and click on the symbol of the mask. The mask will be black.

  Paint with the brush 100% white. No need to be careful... only the type will be affected. The red background is not affected

  1. open the page you want as the background on image

  2. click on modify > Page Properties

  3. under click appearance (CSS) the search for a button for BackgroundImage and choose a file from your defined Site

  1 highlight the text you want to Center in Design view

  2. click on the button CSS in the Properties window (Ctrl + F3 if it is not open)

  3. choose one of the icons of alignment that is there found

  The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:
  

  Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

  You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

• How to cut text through several objects?

  Here is exactly what I'm doing:

  I have a graph of blue that I superposed horseshoe a purple on Ribbon.  On the Ribbon, I typed 'Celebrating 40 years.' I want to cut this text through the Ribbon AND the Horseshoe in order to make transparent and has the color of the white background without having to actually use white as the color.

  After searching online, I thought that I thought about it. I selected the text and converted to outlines.  I selected it and the part of the text Ribbon was on and is gone to the pathfinder and less before.

  It worked partially. The text essentially cut through a layer and partly taken from the background color white. However, the Ribbon graph has dark purple corners where it folds which still shows the text that sits above it AND the part of the text that was still on the blue Horseshoe now showed through in blue.

  How can I get the text to cut through all this is on top of. I tried to select all, then the text as outlines and the hit before, but this does not work. I'm certainly not a pro Illustrator all the instructions step by step would be much appreciated.

  You can just use black direct Type (no need to describe) on top of all that you want to cut through, and then select all of the items whose Type (celebration of 40 years) and in the Transparnecy palette dialog box click on the opacity mask to do with two Clip and mask Invert unchecked.

  You might also get away with just using white Type, which means no impression, but the reverse is safer, and you can see what you have found.

  Hello, guys, I'm trying to turn this text around this planet After Effects CS6.

  I do a basic assumption - please correct me if I'm wrong. (I'm sure you want!) I understand that I can't have two 3D objects (or in this case, two objects 2D with 3d effects applied) in the same 'scene' (as it is called in Photoshop.) I can't do it in other words, have the planet and the text in orbit in the same layer, while the planet naturally hides the rear side of the text in orbit. I am limited to what the planet on one layer and the text on another, correct?

  My goal: make a shiny, reflective, text extruded, make goaround in a circle with the text on the back side of the hidden circle in order to show the text in orbit to disappear behind the planet.

  Okay, given that the above hypothesis is correct, I see two ways to do this, but (as far as I can tell) each method seems to have its advantages and disadvantages:

  1. I can apply the effect CC cylinder to my text.

  BENEFITS:

  -This is a very convenient option to make the full bottle just outside or inside. I chose outside as I want the text to appear to turn on the front of the planet.

  -I can add a mask to hide part of the remaining text visible when necessary.

  -Some integrated lighting controls.

  CON:

  -No choice of materials so that I can not add a layer of the environment to get these cool ideas that will really impress the client. (Yes, I use the traced the beam 3D rendering engine.)

  2. I can apply 3D revolve around circle Animation preset to my text.

  PRO:

  -J' have the options of material and geometry to make cool reflections.

  CON:

  -No option "go Outside" and I know that you can't add a mask to a layer of Ray-Traced. (Correct?) I guess I could make these 6 seconds for the video and then hide this layer of film, but when the before text is right in front of the text back, it would be a mask really complex to have to do.

  That boring white flat text that looks like it was cut with paper, that's what I'm looking to replace it with something nicer.

  Any ideas, suggestions? Is there another way to achieve this goal, I just don't know yet?

  HOLY BEEP BEEP! It worked! I can't believe! I've been hitting my head against the wall with this problem for days! I just went to the AE, one of the layers was already 3D, I clicked on the other and BOOM! The text went behind the planet! A simple click and my problem was solved! It's me, jumping up down and (virtually) caress and kiss you! Thank you very much!

  Hi, I'm putting the different positions and text on three different images. When I saw the text just remains the same.  I tried to change individually, but it doesn't seem to work. I took images in Photoshop and make all the same size with compensation for the text to be included later in the Muse.
