  Photos doesn't have an option to disable the launch of all devices.

  When the Import Photos Panel opens, you should see a check mark in the toolbar 'Open pictures for the device'.   Clear this check box and Photos should not open again for this device (until you reformat the card).

  The automatic launch can be disabled for each camera separately.

  You can try this fix: this Terminal command allows to disable auto-start for any photo application, not just Photos.

  • Photos of quit smoking and unplug any camera.
  • Open a Terminal and paste this command and press return:

  defaults write currentHost - com.apple.ImageCapture disableHotPlug - bool YES

  • Restart the Mac. It is not necessary, but it worked for me after the reboot.

  I try to reuse a Labview VI within TestStand as a module of code.  There are a lot of input and output parameters, and I need to create a separate variable for most of them (probably globals file) so that I can change values dynamically during test sequences.  I see in the code module loading, associated parameters are automatically imported into the parameters of the step, but I would like to know if there is a way to automatically create variables to "convert" the parameters of the code module.  I read a few threads on the creation of dynamic variable and property magazine steps, but these do not seem to have what I'm looking for.  Please notify.  And, as usual, if it looks like I'm wrong understand how TestStand, please correct me.  I am only a few weeks to use it.  Thank you very much.

  The answer is no, you can't.

  You can ask TestStand create types of complex data for you.  There is a small button next to the parameter and it will create the type definition.  However, you should always create all instances and then move those to and from the VI.

  By default, TestStand will link the error message on the wire with the Step.Result.Error.  The rest are pretty much up to you.

  I guess the question/s would be: How does he know where to create the instances?  FileGlobals? People of the country? Settings? Globals station?  Step properties?  Constant value?  There are a ton of places that seem to be the options in question.  This can be a good feature request...

  If you do file / import and pointing to the top-level folder and you want to import the other pictures in that folder, then you will need to turn on the subfolders by using the check box next to the Sources in the upper left corner of the Import Panel.

  Is there an easy way to put in the data from a text file of data values (separator: tab) with multiple instances of each variable?   In my current project, I want to make the name, address, phone, etc. of the data from the text file to a few hundred people in a PDF form that I create and format to my characteristics given.  I know that I can import text and select the instance of the variable I want to fill the similar named fields, but I was wondering if I could correctly name or create the fields on the form so that it would automatically fill each subsequent instance variables with the next line of data?  In this case, I would like to end up with a well formatted address book.

  It is possible, but not just a simple data import.

  Each form on the page of several PDF field would need a unique name not repeated on another page of the PDF file. Fortunately, the standard Acrobat form includes the 'model' object and this object can be created or used to add a new page with the template added for each field on the new page form and form fields automatically renamed with a string to prefix to the number of the page. So if one were to import a line of your file delimited tab in the model, we could then reproduce the model with data from a new page and rename the fields so there would be no conflict of as named fields.

  Import and sort by capture time.  That's assuming that you set two cameras VERY closely at the same date and time.

  

  If this isn't the case, you can set the time for all the pictures from a camera using metadata/Edit Capture Time to sync with the camera.

  Touch edit in the upper right corner, then long tap on folder to drag. Works on mine anyway!

  What this means to you is you can copy and paste, drag and drop, files or directories to the mapped share and everything in this file or directory is copied to.

  Click on one, hold the CTRL key and click the last
  one. Which selects all of the files from one to the other. Then press
  Remove.

  It's a digital camera?  If this isn't the case, you will need to get the film developed.  When you do there is an option to get a CD at this time.  The CD made and then transfer from the CD to the PC.

  If it is digital, see the owner's manual.  Some digital cameras have a special software that must be executed to transfer.  Others you can just directly connect the camera to the PC and transfer the pictures in this way.

  So I have a pdf file that is located in an A4 format.

  Printers have asked that I have create a bleed of 3mm on the edges.

  I know I have the ability to bleed when you create a new page by selecting A4 and just add 3 mm in the substantive area lost.

  Are you sure you really studied the manual?

  Find the small drop-down list in the Align Panel where you can choose to align to the artboard?
