It works fine when the SD card is in my computer, but I would like to use the SD card to other projects, so I copied the files on a hard drive external and even tried to put it on my computer and it says Media Offline. Media link does not work either and sometimes I get the message waiting media, but it stays on never instead of display the clip I need.   However, when I import them into Adobe Premiere Pro (trial version), they lose spectacular quality, can stop at any second, but more important-, they are all "wavy", with almost scratches on the screen, so the resolution suffers a lot. This can be seen in the Timleine, and it's the same when you export.

  When I create a new sequence, there are options to choose the parameters - maybe this could help? Also, maybe I need to indicate some specific settings during export.

  Sound is OK, though the same as in the source video.

I'm an amateur, I'm trying to restore a video on a vhs tape in first Pro Cs5.  I have Pinnacle Studio 14 Pro, Moviebox Plus USB hardware, Sony dvd player software and a Panasonic VCR.  I have captured vhs for Pinnacle Studio 14 Pro video and burned on a dvd.  I connected the Moviebox Plus to my computer via usb and connected at the entrance and exit for my Sony dvd player.  I opened the first Pro Cs5 and went to the file and clicked on the capture.  I push the game on dvd player and nothing happened in the capture window.   I noticed at the top of the window to capture were some info.  The news said: "the Capture device is in offline mode.   I went in first Pro Cs5 to edit and preferences.  I changed the brand of the Sony device and the Type of device to the standard.   So far, nothing has been captured.   I would like to know how I can solve this problem.  I know it's a lot of information, but it's the only way to assert my setup and what has been done.   Thank you.

  The simple way is with the DVD in the optical drive of your computer, use Explorer to navigate to the Video_ts folder and you'll find the VOB file

  If you do not see the file extension highlight the folder and right click, select properties and in the Tools menu select options records then view uncheck Hide extensions of known file types.

  Then you will see the. VOB file extensions.

  Copy the large VOB on your hard drive then click on it and select Rename.

  Rename it. VOB to .mpg and use this file.

  There are some freeware VOB2MPG who does the same work but more easy.

  JPEG quality is never (or not as high as possible). Shoot raw and process in Camera Raw, where you have total control over all other treatment and noise reduction settings.

  JPEGs are self-treated behind doors closed, highly compressed and throw large amounts of data.
