How to install Acrobat compatible with Windows XP compared to clouds Creative

I got creative cloud since 2012 membership. I have only Windows XP on my desktop. I downloaded Adobe Acrobat XI previously and it was working fine, however, Avast deleted part of the program, saying that he was not sure. How can I reinstall Acrobat XI, as it says I need a serial number?

You will not be able to get through the cloud because XP does not work with the cloud.  You should be able to download through the next page

  • How the old software compatible with Windows 7?

    Hello!

I'm trying to figure out how to run the old dictionaries CD-ROM on Windows 7. Both dictionaries are compatible with Windows 3.X/95/NT/98, but Windows 7 refuses to install. I've tried the compatibility changes explained on the video on the website of Microsoft, but does not.

    Could someone help me?

    Hello Mika Oksanen,

If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode. However, not all software for earlier operating systems will run on the new platform for Windows 7.

    Try using the following steps:

    (1) right click on the program

    2) click Properties

    3) click on the Compatibility tab

    (4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.

Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

If compatibility is not successful, then try and self-test program compatibility issues:

    1. open the program compatibility problems theStart button.

Then click on Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting tool, then clickTroubleshooting. Under programs, clickRun done for previous versions of Windows.

    2. follow the instructions in the troubleshooting.

If you are unable to install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the Troubleshoot utility, navigate to the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. This utility is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.

If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other software virtualization part 3rd and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.

    I hope this helps.

I just bought a new HP with windows 7.

Can I install the software that is compatible with Windows XP and power continue to use it under Windows 7?

I have a database of large size on Quickbooks Customer Manager 2.0. Can I install in Widown 7 Customer Manager and access my database?

QuickBooks Customer Manager 2.5 is no longer compatible with Windows &?

Since you already have the computer, it cannot hurt to try to install the software.  You have two options to try to get your software to work.  Let's first try that easy. If you have installed the software and it does not work, you can try running Windows XP.   Click Start, type compatibility in the research field, and click the enter key. This will bring up the resolution of the problems of compatibility of programs.  Click Next and it make a quick check on your machine.  It will ask you to Select the program that you are having problems with, and then click Next.  Click troubleshoot program, then check the box for the program worked in earlier versions of Windows...  Windows XP (Service Pack 2)-click , then click on Next. Click on the box for start the program. He will try to open the program as if you were using XP. Once the program is trying to open, click on Next. Now it will ask if it worked for you.  If so, click on Yes, save these settings for this program. If you clicked Yes, every time that you open the program now he opens as if it was running under XP.  That if it worked!

Sometimes this method does not work.  For these cases, there is a new feature called XP Mode, which will install a virtual machine running Windowx XP SP3 before you run your program in.  This feature is available in Professional, comprehensive and Enterprise edition versions. It is not too hard to get set up. It actually installs a copy of Windows XP before you run your program in.   Here's a Microsoft article on how to get it set up: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/.  XP mode now works even if you do not have the chip installed for hardware-assisted virtualization technology.

With regard to the hard drives after connect you, try to look in the Device Manager to see if they are recognized.  Right-click on your computername in the Device Manager and click Scan for hardware changes.  Go through the list and see if there are all devices with a yellow mark beside them, this means that there is a problem; Maybe would help drivers updated.

  • Acrobat 8.3.1 is compatible with Windows 10?

I have Acrobat Professional version 8.3.1 installed / a license on the PC and laptop, and I want to upgrade to Windows 10.  On Acrobat, the option to deactivate the license is available, but when I used it before, would not reactivate without long hours on chat with Adobe.

Has anyone upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 without problems of disabled with Acrobat 8.3.1?

On a Google search, others who have upgraded to Windows 10 have had nothing but trouble dealing with Adobe after their license of Acrobat 8 pro off and they were unable to reactivate without long hours chatting with remote admin someone at Adobe.  First, they were told that Acrobat is not compatible with windows 10, but after finally getting a new activation of Adobe, Acrobat 8.3 works great as it did with Windows 7.  Thanks, Jim

  • Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

Hi, I have a problem in the installation, how to install acrobat 8.1 pro in 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise is existing in Windows XP.  I just want to transfer the license Adobe pro 8 Windows 7 64 bit. What is the procedure?

You need to install 8 AA on the new OS with your current S/N (the license allows 2 installs). After the installation, do all the updates if you expect any chance of 8 AA to run on the system. If the updates will be installed not in the menu help, then go to ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/ and install updates in the order. People seem to have been successful with 32 - bit systems and some have reported success with a 64 bit system. After installation, print something to the Adobe PDF printer to make sure it works. If this works, you should be in good shape as printing treat the bottleneck. There is a solution, but you shouldn't have it.

If all works well, then go back to the old machine and disable this installing and uninstalling. Don't forget that your configuration is not supported by Adobe. It seems with every new version of Windows, MS seeks to make the user to upgrade the other hardware and software for compatibility. There may be legitimate reasons for this action, but the game just seems to be Ms.
