  I bought Creative Suite Standard deigns in Oct and since then constantly had problems with the software. Adobe support has been completely useless and therefore, so to install just I had to reformat my drive completely

  Simple: You caps.db, or even PCD.db file are damaged or have permission issues, so nothing is more logical for the installer because it cannot update the information in the files. Run the CS own new tool, manually delete the two files, reinstall. And since you'll be not wanan run the drill again every two days, study your user and permissions on your system security stuff. I have this annoying feeling, that it is once more a simple question in this sense...

  I tried to install the standard of creative design Suit5 on my new macbook (OS X El Capitan), but it won ' t accept my series number (serial number valid for this product), even if I already turned off of my old laptop by following the instructions.   For a single user license, serial number is what dictates if you install an upgrade license, or a full license... the software is otherwise the same for each license.  It is more likely that you are involved with a volume license, in which case you need a special version of the software for it.

  I recently encountered a problem with a HARD disk drive. So I had to replace it with a new one. Fortunately, I managed to recover the data and applications on the original disc.

  However when I transferred and installed after Adobe CS5 Design Standard on the new HARD drive it will open all Adobe apps.

  Reinstall correctly. Activation does not work because in the technical sense is not simply there. Screw you them. Run the cleanup tool if necessary and contact support to reset the activations.

  I can't find any other newspapers or errors on the PC.  It does not have to restart the computer and try again.  What I have done but not luck

  Most likely the VC runtimes fail to install on your next machine (according to the log messages)-

  Try to install them individually. To install you must double-click on the respective msi file of files that are located in the folder 'charges' install as -

• Trouble installing CS5 Design Premium - please help a novice!

  It is almost impossible for me, someone who is new to MAC in general, to understand what is happening with my system. But I learned a little through online searches and the suppory community. Ultimately no part of the entire program was already installed on my computer. Is there someone you could ask to help me. I have problems of the research on the specific error code, which I believe is where I find my answer. Most of the information I could dig up is outdated, dating back many years and does not apply (unless I'm missing something).

  Support I was called last night and offered little assistance and asked me nothing about my system or errors that occurred, telling me that the problem I feel is caused by the server updated adobe plug-ins for only support CS6 essentially making obsolete the CS5. I find this hard to believe since my fiance just to install the other licence (I bought 2 licenses) successfully, the first test, only 2 weeks ago.   Gratefulbear the ~ indicates that you look at the files in the user //Library/Logs folder.

  To access your library of root, file, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the Finder
  2. Use the Go menu and select folder.
  3. Type of/Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers

  This should then, open the folder library/logs/Adobe.  Please see Troubleshooting with the Setup logs.
