  Please try to download the installer for Adobe CS 5 Design Standard again from here: Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products

  Compare the size of the file downloaded with the display on the Web page.

  After you download the .7z file, you must first extract and then run installation, if you go directly launch the setup that it will not be installed.

  You can use any Extractor/unzip program to extract the 7z file.

  Before installing gently, make the following changes:

  1-go to: Apple icon > system preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall - turn off (to make these changes click the padlock in the corner at the bottom left of this window and enter your computer password)

  I bought Creative Suite Standard deigns in Oct and since then constantly had problems with the software. Adobe support has been completely useless and therefore, so to install just I had to reformat my drive completely

  Since then, I have had constant problems, but last week, InDesign has decided not to work at all, first by removing the ability to save, and then gradually fault until it crashes everytime at the opening. I tried several fixes recommended on this site but also do a system restore on my PC. My last attempt was to uninstall the entire program of Indesign and re - install... it was a very bad idea because I'm now back to the initial problem of not being able to install it! So am now dating Indesign completely.

  When you pay over £200 for the software, I feel the least you can expect, it's so he can install it on your system!

  If anyone has any ideas on how to re install which would be really useful! Thank you

  Simple: You caps.db, or even PCD.db file are damaged or have permission issues, so nothing is more logical for the installer because it cannot update the information in the files. Run the CS own new tool, manually delete the two files, reinstall. And since you'll be not wanan run the drill again every two days, study your user and permissions on your system security stuff. I have this annoying feeling, that it is once more a simple question in this sense...

  If everything seems to work, leave it.  If you have a problem:

  Uninstall all cs4 programs and use the cleaning tool cleaner, use of the CC to resolve installation problems. CC, CS3 - CS6

  Uninstall flash player, Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

  Restart your computer.

  First install indesign.

  then install photoshop

  Then install acrobat and Illustrator

  Then, install the remaining programs of cs4.

  Software Acrobat 9 comes with CS5, however, both have a different serial number.

  CS5 serial number will not work for Acrobat. You can click on the link above and find the correct serial number and activate Acrobat.

  Searching the Internet, I have only to find the Setup file of the full version to CS5 Design Standard of Adobe's Web site, and the serial code I bought (LWS-license) is not accepted. I immagine that I need another program to install, when I need to enter the old code of CS3 in order to re - install the upgrade-license, but how? Would be glad if someone could help me...

  For a single user license, serial number is what dictates if you install an upgrade license, or a full license... the software is otherwise the same for each license.  It is more likely that you are involved with a volume license, in which case you need a special version of the software for it.

  I can't find any other newspapers or errors on the PC.  It does not have to restart the computer and try again.  What I have done but not luck

  Complete log files located in the following location (for example, if C: is your primary drive).

  C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Adobe\Installers

  Most likely the VC runtimes fail to install on your next machine (according to the log messages)-

  Try to install them individually. To install you must double-click on the respective msi file of files that are located in the folder 'charges' install as -

  payloads\Microsoft_VC90_ATL_x86\Microsoft_VC90_ATL_x86.msi

  Once you have correctly installed the msi files, rerun the Setup program.

  I read some of the messages that the last update (Cloud) sometimes does not work with old programs... Try to install your updates manually
