  The only difference between the normal and student/teacher is normally in the license, not the software.  Make sure that you try to use the serial number on the version correct appointed suite.

  Navigate to:

  Program/C FIles(X86) /Common Files/Adobe/OOBE and rename OOBE.old

  Program/C Files(X86) /Common Files/Adobe/Caps and rename Caps.old

  Run the installer and try to reinstall.
