How to install the Windows Linux deafult theme

Hello, I want to use Firefox under Linux with theme, which is used in Windows by deafult. I can't find any download, so maybe you could give me a link or tell how to export Windows disk?
I'm using 64 bit Ubuntu 11.10

Is it a theme like https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/strata-xp-on-linux/ meet your desires? If this isn't the case, https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/themes/ has tons of different themes.

In addition, you should start getting ready to upgrade to Firefox 11. Using Firefox 8, you open yourself up to a multitude of bugs and security flaws.

  • How to install the Windows Service Pack to run TurboTax 2013

My computer? crashed? and I had to reboot. Now cannot install Turbotax 2013, re: "unable to install. need Windows XP Service Pack installed. Tried, tried. Failed to install. Nothing works. I found on my C: / drive a Microsoft.net folder which contains the following folders: v1.0.3705, v1.1.322

v2.050727, v3.0 and v3.5. (I could downlow these files somehow).  Always impossible to install Windows XP Service Pack 3.  Help, please. Also do I need pack installation of MSN (? Installer?) Thank you Joe

It seems that you have chosen to "restore the computer to factory State" that will indeed have destroyed ALL of your personal files, in addition to removing all the programs that you installed after that you got the computer first.

A problem with restoring to factory State, it is that Windows will be updated to the date of the computer has left the factory.

The first step is now to determine the State of your hard drive - a problem with the hard drive is probably the cause of the original error on HAL. DLL. most probably the "restoration" process has solved all the problems, but it is worth the visit.

Open my computer, right-click on the icon for the C: drive and select Properties.
    Select the Tools tab
Click on the "Check now" button
Check the two boxes in the window "Check Disk drive Local (c)"
    Click on click Start

Answer Yes to the question in the following window appears:

Click OK to close the Properties window, and then restart the computer.

When the computer restarts, you will see something like this:

When chkdsk is finished and has (hopefully) corrected all errors, follow the directions in the post of JW Stuart to firstly download SP3 (link at the bottom of his post), and then install it.

Here is another set of tips for the installation of SP3, contributing Daavee (slightly modified because you already have SP2):

And here are the tips that still work for me:

    1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

(You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

(You need to install IE8 AFTER SP3! Trust in me.)

And if you wish, download the Setup file of a good anti-virus program. [Get Microsoft Security Essentials at first, unless you have an a / v already installed]

    2. disconnect Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

    4. install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

5 move to IE8. Restart TWICE.

    6. install anti-virus software.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

[This is why JW Stuart has proposed to perform the installation in a "Clean boot" State - where your antivirus won't work.]

    7. make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should already be):

Start | Control Panel | Security Center

(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet. Update Antivirus program.)

8 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates. Restart each time you are prompted.

    9. reactivate the automatic updates.

  • How to install the windows vista of batch updates?

Hi, after re-installation of the operating system (Vista Ultimate x 86), I downloaded and saved all relevant updates
(I want to reinstall the same OS and updates Virtual Box and I didn't download all updates twice).
Now I'm looking for a simple way (script) to install all updates in one batch, with no restart.
I looked at a program called vLite, but after installation and before he could be executed, it requires one almost 1.4 GB
Additional downloads, resembling an overdose. The BatchPatch is a great network, not a single system running VB.
I've also seen some parts of the script, but they were not clear enough for me - I'm a geek, or IT.
If someone has a script that might work, please list in its entirety and a form that is understandable even by a drunken sailor.
    Thank you!

    I saw this code:

    Off @Echo
The title of the installation of Windows 7 updates
    For %% in (Windows6. 1 - KB * .msu) don't call: msin %%d KB
    Output
    : msin
    Start/wait /norestart/quiet %1
    GoTo: EOF
    Output
    : EXPRESSIONS OF FOLKLORE

I don't understand. Should I repeat the line (for %% in (Windows6. 1 - KB * .msu) don't call: msin % F) for each update with the appropriate number, or what?

Tools & Utilities CD does not work with Win7,

    Hello

I m wondering that you have installed Windows 7 on this good old classic. In my opinion Windows XP would be the best choice, but ok, you can do what you want ;)

Anyway, AFAIK your laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card then I recommend to download the driver form Intel directly because the Web from Toshiba site displays only the Windows XP display drivers.

How to recover my product key of windows 8, I installed the windows 10 techniques view without taking backup I need to go back to my windows 8 pls someone help

    Hi Carmen,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

I understand that you had not taken any prior backup upgrade to Windows 10 Technical Preview and need product key to retrieve Windows 8.

So, first of all, I suggest you to check the product key in email messages when you purchased the license to the product for Windows 8. Once you get the product key, you can create a Windows 8 ISO and reinstall using this product key. See the following article:

To create installation media Windows 8.1

However, if you had bought the system pre-installed with Windows 8. Then, you may need to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) system for Windows 8 discs to restore the older operating system.

Hope this information is useful. Let us know the results for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.
