How to join the connected server?

This can be a very simple question, but I can't find where in the documentation, it might be mentioned.

How can I get the name of the server that I am connected?  In many cases, it would be just the return value of Opts::get_option ('server'), but if I use a session file, which seems to always come back 'localhost', which is not what I want.

Pointers would be appreciated.

A simple way would be to use Vim::get_service_url ().  This will return the full URL that you can analyze.  I don't know if there's a simple host part, but you could instantiate an object URI of the service_url and extract the host part.

    We have developed a cRio Datalogger and we control in a control panel with the cRio connected to our LAN.

    Now, we want to make the connection even the cRio with a Modem - Router Multitech GPRS (a Multimodem with DynDns capabilities). The problem is that our GPRS service provider gives a private IP, so we cannot access the cRio from the internet.

    We did a test with a sample that comes with Labview, a TCP connection multiclient, we run the vi client in a PC connected to the internet with GPRS Modem and server in another PC in our local network.     We solved the problem by using a SIM with mobile broadband enabled. With this service, the cell phone company has an IP address public (here in Argentina).

    I have a problem with our RV325. After a reset the PPTP server is enabled by default. Any attempt to save the form in the "PPTP server" settings causes an error as shown in the attached screenshot. I think it's a security issue. Does anyone have an idea how to disable? Pourrait restoration from a manually edited saved startup configuration work?

    EDIT: I managed to block attempts to connect PPTP with the firewall by refusing port 1723, but I still prefer to stop the PPTP server somehow.
