  The only work around is to export a batch in the print module, or the module slideshow with filenames on the images. Then import those in the catalog and use in a collection of syncd.

Because they can only do so via the buttons on the Web page, they are not able to remove the other stuff of users.
  However, nothing to prevent them from being able to connect via sqlplus say and removing stuff directly in the table. How to work around this problem?
