  Your only option is to go to the Task Manager/Unix command line and kill the ESSSVR.exe process. This process is blocked and all of the demolitions that you issue of EAS/MaxL won't fix.

  I m leaving db_home netca. After the insturction when I finished, start the process, but in the Middle shows the listener on node1 and node2 cannot be created.

  The client configuration is the same as the server:

  1. create the portfolio.

  2 creating CSR and copy it in CA.

  3. the CSR signal with your certificate root.

  4 copy signed CRT file and root of public certificate to the client.

  5 configure the sqlnet.ora clients.

  Heavy customers already contains the necessary files. For thin clients, it is necessary to install the full or instant client.

  In SQLDeveloper, connection string should be like:

  Documentation on setting up a listening port password is clear enough and does not address file a/the password. You define the listener password by issuing the appropriate lsnrctl command. The password is encrypted and stored in the listener.ora file. That's all.

  And at least from 10 g, if your OS account is member of the dba group, the Auditor considers you authenticated OS (just like "/ as sysdba" to sqlplus) and will not require a password. The password protects against accounts that are NOT members of the dba group.

  For example on HP - UX, you can try something like this:

  On AIX I don't think that the syntax is very different.

  Installed GlassFish and found that the glassfish installation does not work, so I deleted all files from glassfish to my unix machine with the stop of the glassfish Server (. / asadmin stop-domain).

  Now, I downloaded another version of glassfish and tried to start the server (. / asadmin start-domain). I get the following error.

  There is a process that is already using the port admin 4848 - it's probably another instance of GlassFish server.

  Command start-domain failed.
