On the Maximum of Source Ports on a Port Destination ESW 520 24 P

The ESW 520 24 P does support mirrored 20 Ports traffic at the Port of Destination 1?

Hi Andy

Without media ESW mirroring groups each of which can mirror 8 ports to a destination port.

It is fine for normal problem determination purposes. I can guess your application.

What about Dave

  • Find processes the source port in XP

Does anyone know how to find out what process/program is tuned to a certain port on a PC running XP? Or if not, how to connect the use of ports by processes and programs. Here, this is why I need:

Here we have a rule that all Internet access must go through a HTTP proxy. Our firewall blocks any attempt to directly access the Internet.

I see the firewall drop some HTTP access. These usually consist of three connection attempts: the first, the first retry after 3 seconds and the second to try again after 6 seconds, then it gives up. This model has become so familiar, I guess this is the standard behavior of Microsoft TCP. These access occur, for example, when a web page contains Java which isn't taking proxy supported.

Now I have a PC that is much more persistent. Instead of giving up after three attempts, he waits another 12 seconds, takes a new source port and try again. Throughout the day, he repeats this try-3-try-6-try-12-change-try-3-model... Try as I might, I just can't understand what process on the computer generates these connection attempts. The target IP address is variable, but it still belongs to Akamai - which does not really help to identify the offending program. The target port is always 80/tcp.

My fear is that the PC is trying to participate in a DDoS on Akamai.

What I want is a tool that will tell me what program generates these packages, preferably within 21 seconds it takes for it to expire and change the source port.

    Can someone help me?

  • Maximum capacity of the clustered data source

    Hello

I configured a data source and assigned the maximum capacity of the initial capacity and 10 to 2 and it focused on all the servers in a cluster (node 1 and node 2).
now how the connections will be used in cluster mode. Both the node will be to a maximum of 10 connection limit
or each node will have competition from the 10 connection limit? Please clarify for me.

    Thank you
    KK

    Hi KK,.

Here's the correct when you affected all services cluster, then a series of services instance is created.

I mean if you have 2 node in the cluster and a DS with 10 size capacity Max.

If the server is within the cluster environment and then he shares the resource also.

So at the start of any instance then temporary will be created for this server and pool created these many connection objects.

10 pool Max size X 2 Server in cluster is 20 connection objects.

This is how cluster will increase the performance your single server to compare environment.

Again, you have additional questions let me know.

    Kind regards

  • Exceeding the maximum switching voltage

Hi, I have a quick question (hopefully) on electrical safety and a switch PXI-2536.

In a series of tests that I am performing, I have one requiring the connection of an output channel of my camera, an entry to a DMM and the positive power of my power supply (via a pull-up resistance) through the switch. The device can run from 12V - 24V and lists of plug switch technique is the maximum switching as voltage +/-12VDC, so I think I should be fine as long as I run at 12V.

However, I have another test that does not require anything which is connected through the switch, but it affects the output of the power supply 28V to check the power circuit. I can cut the ways of the switch and shut up (by program) during this test, but I don't know if that actually gives him no protection.

Can someone tell me if I'm in danger of damaging my switch, if I have one of these channels (a column in this case, if it makes a difference) connected to a 28V source, even if it is not open and connection?

    Thank you
    Jon

    JWanklin,

Which is expected. (The relay will remain open despite the software telling you that it is closed).

Surge protection is at the hardware level and does not give any feedback on the State of the software. If you try to close the switch, the software and hardware will always try to drive the FET to be closed and will always report as closed relay. The FET used on this specific switch has the feature, where it will open the circuit if it detects that the voltage at the terminals of the switch is greater than 12 volts to the chassis ground.

Can someone tell me if I'm in danger of damaging my switch, if I have one of these channels (a column in this case, if it makes a difference) connected to a 28V source, even if it is not open and connection?

In view of the surge protection, you are technically without danger of damage to the switch, but as the Maximum switching voltage is 12 v CC, I wouldn't recommend keeping the 28V on the column, if it is not used. Ideally, you should never have anything related to the switch which is purposfully above the maximum switching voltage.

Edit event managed by this case in LabVIEW 2013 shows not specifiers of the event, Event Sources and events on screen resolution 800 x 600.

As far as I know, the list of supported resolutions is determined solely by the graphics card. It is possible that one used by the PC supports only 800 x 600 as maximum resolution, even if you plug an external monitor.

Like Dennis suggested, the recommended option would probably be to develop on another PC and only deploy an executable for the industrial PC. That's what we do with our systems (although not because of this problem, but because it makes sense. There absolutely no need to have the IDE installed in most of our systems).

    Other options:

    1. See if you can get an update of the driver from the manufacturer to solve this problem.
    2. Plug a USB Monitor with its own driver.
    3. Try to hide the taskbar and make the smaller title bar in the hope that the bug manifests.
    4. Try remote access in the PC. I think that some remote access programs allow you to specify custom resolutions that are not affected by the original drivers. Remote Desktop seems to be a likely this option even if it has been awhile since I've used it.
    5. Check the BIOS. I saw at least one industrial PC where there was some settings in the BIOS to control the resolution, but I don't remember the details, and it was quite limited. I think that in this case, you can change the resolution, but then the image does not fill the entire screen.
  • Setting the maximum file name length under Win XP x 64

I am trying to find a way to set the maximum size of the name files in Windows XP x 64?

I think I need to set the value of the MAX_PATH limit in environment variables or the Windows registry?  I am running Windows XP x 64 on an NTFS partition, so my theoretical maximum for a file name is 255 characters. Is it possible to put down?

Destructive how would making this change not my system?

    Thank you

MAX_PATH is a system/constant variable used when the Windows operating system is compiled.  There is no way to effectively change without recompile Windows from its source code.  Note that this sets the maximum length of the full path to the file, including directories parent so that the only way that a file can actually be 255 characters long would be if it was located in a root directory.  This is not a hard limit, however, there are some programs that can handle path names has more MAX_PATH (for example "Robocopy").

  • What is the maximum Memroy for an Inspiron 580?

I am confused about the maximum memory for the Inspiron 580.

On the Dell website, it has that 8 GB is the maximum.

When I run the Dell Support Center software, click on the tab of system details under the heading SYSTEM MEMORY, it indicates the maximum supported memory is 16,00 GB.

    What is the right answer?

    J. Gray and yes I did.  As I posted above.  Its been running 16 GB for about 4 months now.

According to Panel... it shows an i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20 GHz with 16 GB of installed system, 15.8 GB usable.  64-bit operating system.  NOTE: the RAM is outside the EEC

And Yes, it is a Dell Inspiron 580 (per plate).  In the event that it is lost above, I wrote on 29/12/2015 (so you have the price, PN and source):

I just powered up with 16 GB in my Dell Inspiron 580.  It has 4 RAM slots now x 4 of them at $21 / each (on ebay):

    • 4 GB DDR3 PC3-12800 1600 MHz 4G MEMORY OFFICE 240-PIN Non - ECC RAM CL 11

I was careful to cross reference, which would be and how fast it was.  These are faster they must do, but they were also the cost lowest.  The 'old' were DDR3-1333.  So these are the fastest (doubt that helps the machine go faster), DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800, alias).

I have had this PC i5 for about 5 years now.  I had thought that it was getting old/obsolete, but when shopping is not not bad.  So, $80 brings me 6 GB to 16 GB.

  • What is the maximum flow of PERC 5/E + MD1000? Confused in the calculations.

Hello, I have read many articles on PERC 5/E and after the last section of the Dell Web site, I'm totally confused. I don't have much experience with these things.

    http://www.Dell.com/downloads/global/power/ps3q07-20070368-Olivarez-OE.PDF

My question is: if I Garland 3 x MD1000 and hang it in a port, which is the maximum flow? How can I type 1 Gbps? Is maximum 300MBps by port (wide port?) or PERC 5/E? How would I go over this?

(the link provided in the upper part) "The PERC 5 is connected to the server through a x 8 slot PCI Express nominal of 2 Gbps (although some systems can use a x 4 PCI Express slot, rated at 1 Gbit/s). The PERC 5 has two wide ports of SAS to connect the controller to expanders. Each wide port is a combination of four ports SAS estimated at 300 MB/s each, providing a flow of 1 200 MB/s per total Expander or 2 400 MB/sec. »

I understand more channels, but what exactly do mean by "four SAS ports?

They mean that each physical port is somehow 4-port SAS? So there x 4 double SAS? Then, each port has a flow rate of 1.2GBps? I understand it correctly?

Please someone explain simply. Thanks in advance!

    Hello

My question is: if I Garland 3 x MD1000 and hang it in a port, which is the maximum flow? How can I type 1 Gbps? Is maximum 300MBps by port (wide port?) or PERC 5/E? How would I go over this?

It would be 1.2 GB/s. 5th PERC has two connectors for two different channels. Each of these connectors consists of 4x300MB/s ports, so each channel is capable of 1.2 GB/s. It's theoretical. Will not actually be able to reach this number as there is overhead to consider. The document States 80% is about the max possible, so that you to put approximately 960 MB/s.

    ZippoWindproof
I understand more channels, but what exactly do mean by "four SAS ports?

This is the logical ports. This connector is used to a channel. The channel consists of 4 logical ports.

Yes, that is essentially what it means.

  • Signature custom for the maximum number of connections

Hi, is there a signature to check the maximum number of connection to a host attacker to open a port to the victim? or should I make a costom for this signature?

    Hello

You certainly can do it on the IP addresses, follow these steps in making a signature Atomic-ip looking for a tcp packet with only the SYN flag set on port 443 to the destination. You would then add a number of events for the number of connections you need. According to the site however this will flood the channel alarm with alerts, because traffic going out etc it will trigger. Of course, this can also be problematic with NAT.

I don't know one of the guys ASA on these forums could give an answer better than me with regard to the configuration of the SAA.

I understand they'RE a dynamic IP filtering or something that can be used to do this, although I've never configured myself.

  • Unable to get the maximum screen resolution when you use the external monitor

    Hello

I use Windows 8 on laptop ASUS K55A. I use an external monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 2233BW). Everything works fine except that I do not get the maximum resolution on the external display. The only way I see a sort of an overview of the good resolution is when I choose "extend these screens", but it's very uncomfortable when there's always one screen, I don't actually see.
How can I increase the resolution of the screen on the external screen? (now, it's on 'show desktop only on 2')

  • How do I know what the maximum number of agents I can put on a hyperic serv

How do I know what the maximum number of agents I can put on a hyperic server. ?? IM using the built in database on a linux unbuntu 4 cpu system ' s2592 MHZ. 7GB of Ram. I assumed that the
disk space can be the most important question? Any suggestions or any help to determine when to stop adding customers would be useful. We can use open source, but are also
talk about the EE version. The Hyperic server type would make a difference in space etc.?

Disk i/o is probably a bit more critical than the disk space that the DB generally is not larger than 10-15 concerts.

Ability wise, your system is CPU/RAM.  Disk i/o will probably be your main bottleneck and the thing that will determine the maximum number of agents that can have on the server.

Splitting of the DB from the HQ server would certainly help in the perspective of General load.  Definitely put the DB a system with several piles of discs (part of a San, fast raid) will help you in the disk i/o.

If I was trying to answer the same question, I guess that I look at the Scriptures on disk on the DB as starting point, test the drive with systat/iostat or something to see what the drive is capable of in terms of read/write speeds and also look at postgres for slow queries, duration of execution of query, used memory and cpu.  Naturally, I would do the majority of "look at her" go to HQ itself :)

  • sqlldr question: field in the data file exceeds the maximum length

    Hello friends,

I am struggling with a load of simple data using sqlldr and hoping someone can guide me.

Ref: I use Oracle 11.2 on Linux 5.7.
    ===========================
    Here is my table:
    SQL> desc ntwkrep.CARD

     STATUS                                                                     VARCHAR2(255)
     LASTMODIFIED                                                               DATE
When I try to load a text file data using sqlldr, I get the following errors on some files that do not charge.

    Example:
    =======
Sheet 1: Rejected - error on the NTWKREP table. CARD, column REALIZES.
Field in the data file exceeds the maximum length

Looking at the actual data and count the characters for the data of the "CONSCIOUS" column, I see that it is basically a little more of 1000 characters.

So try various ideas to solve the problem, I tried to change to "tank" nls_length_semantics and re-create the table, but this does not always helped and always got the same errors of loading data on the same lines.

Then, I changed back to byte nls_length_semantics and recreated the table again.
This time, I have changed the table manually as:
    SQL> ALTER TABLE ntwkrep.CARD MODIFY (REALIZES VARCHAR2(4000 char));

    Table altered.

    SQL> desc ntwkrep.card

     LASTMODIFIED                                                               DATE
Yet once, loading data failed with the same error on the same lines.

So, this time, I thought that I would try to change the data type of column in a clob (navigation), and again, it is still impossible to load on the same lines.
