  I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, I develop software to support VMWare PCoIP and need to know how to get the host name of the physical machine (which manages the virtual machine and View Client) within a virtual machine before the user logs in Windows of the virtual machine.

  I understand there are two ways to read the host name, via the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Volatile Environment registry and environment variables, but they are available once the user is connected. I need info before the user connects.

  the name to remember in the DB vcenter. one of the ways is to remove and add the vCenter.

  The only URL that will change is the homepage (the first page in the plan view), which will always be equal to index.html, since web servers are set to get it, in order to serve the first page of the site.

  Unless you have a specific reason to do this, you don't need to enter the URL of the page directly, as you can get the list of hyperlink pages and Muse will create the necessary link code. It is better to do this way, given that the URL will be automatically updated if you change page names.

  Not all applications supported by ExtensionBuilder have HBAPI

  supports, if you see HostObject isn't available, most likely the host

  App does not support that, we will work with the product team to add

  In the case of obtaining the hostname, you can use the API CSXS

  getHostEnvironment() to retrieve it.  See the CSExtBasics

  AppModel.computeHostName for the sample code on how to do it.

  You can make a subclass of JHeadstart FileHandlerBean, override the uploadFile method, check the ecxtension in your class and then call super.
  Create a custom template for the fileHandlerBean.vm (or fileHandlerBeanInTable.vm) to use your custom subclass.

I can get the vDC and the cluster, but I can't find what combination of cmdlets or vim commands can extract this nugget. It is automatically used as the host name "localhost" and wrote in listener.ora, so no other machine on the network is able to use it. Only, it connects since within the same machine.
