How to landscape on the Simulator?

I can't understand how the Simulator go from portrait to landscape (guess BB have that option, honesty allows me to say that I do not have a BB device). I set myself for orientation in the controller application of "up to", which actually turn to the landscape position, but nothing changes on the virtual screen, not to mention the resolution switching.

I use the version of Simulator 10.2.1.1925 on VMware Workstation 10 BB10. What I'm testing, is just the web browser. The site I'm doing works very well in the landscape on iOS and Android, so I'm sure that's not what is the cause of not working. But I still want to test my website on BB in landscape

Anyone know how?

Either works for me including just by clicking at the bottom right, as stated in the documentation, but what works for you.

  • Eclipse plugin Simulator - how to set up the network

    Hi I installed Blackberry JDE Eclipse plug-in successfully. My test app works fine on Simulator until he tried to open an HTTP connection to a URL (a real web address like www.google.comor localhost):

    Here's the code I used:

    S StreamConnection = null;
    Try

    {

    s = (StreamConnection) Connector.open (getUrl ());

    HttpConnection httpConn s = (HttpConnection);

    State int = httpConn.getResponseCode ();

    ...

    }

    So my question is how to set up the simulator so that it can open the connection to the network.

    Of BlackBerry MDS Simulator is packaged and installed with the plugin Eclipse and can also be downloaded separately if necessary. You can configure to start the MDS Simulator with your simulator of aircraft in debug/run dialog box. For more information about these steps, see the Eclipse plug-in for the next topic test a BlackBerry Application that uses an HTTP connection.

  • How to create the .cod file to run on the Simulator BB9900

    Hi, I already from the zip package in order to use the bbwp command to create the .cod file and be able to run on the simulator of BB9900, but when I run this command as described in: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/compile_ww_app_for_smartphones_1873321_11.html

    It creates two files, each with a .bar file, this type of file, I can't run it on the 9900 Simulator but a .cod file is required to run applications on the sim card.

    I don't know how to create the .cod file.

    Have you used Blackberry Webworks SDK for smartphone or Tablet SDK? The .cod files should be located in the subfolder OTAInstall of your output folder if you are using the Webworks SDK for Smartphone

  • Simulator deploy token not to see the place. How to return to the home screen of the setting screen?

    I tried to test the app on my bb10 Simulator,

    of webworks...\bin, I ggenerated dubugtoken, then use blackberry - deploy deploy IP 192.168.59.130 Simulator.

    but side Simulator, I do not see that this token of debugging has been deployed.

    What should I do?

    How to return to the home screen of the setting screen? There is no back button the page setting of the Simulator.

    Thank you.

    Hi neemliu,

    To return to the home screen, you must slide up from the bottom of the screen. You need to make the same gesture, using your mouse when you use the Simulator. Drag the mouse with the lower edge of the screen to the top.

    What do you see in the output for blackberry - deploy when you deploy the token? He succeeds?

    Have you tried to deploy applications? The process is the same, if you can deploy applications then you should be able to deploy the debugging token.
