How to link to a location on Google map

Hi guys,.

I have a column that contains the codes of places for example: 25.197732,55.273581
(I got from Google map when right click the location, and then select "what's here" then I get a number in the search bar)
When a user clicks a value in this column, he must see location on Google map.

My question is, what is the link I should use to achieve this?

I hope my question is clear.
Kind regards
Fateh

  • How to display the context menu on MAF google map?

    Hi all

    How to show the popup on the google map of the MAF like this? I have a collection of data would appear on the map of google map MAF, but when I click on the screen, I find the popup seems just on the Middle not the style shows as below.

    So I want to know if there is a way to identify the points on the map as the model below. Could you give me some suggestions? Thanks in advance.

    This is supported only from MAF version 2.0.1

    You can use showpopupbehavior within a marker like this:

    shortDesc = "#{row.cityName} '"

    rendering = "true" >

    popupId = "popup1."

    alignId = "marker1 '.

    align = 'topCenter.

    decoration = "anchor" / >

    You can change line property based on your condition.

    In addition, you may need to add the setPropertyListener inside marker as well as to show the current name of the city from the context menu:

    to = "#{pageFlowScope.currentCity} '"

    type = 'action' / >

  • Apple vs Google maps

    This has probably been asked and perhaps answered in the past, but no one knows why Google Maps knows where I live, but Apple Maps is not? The location with Google Maps service locates my exact address, but Apple Maps moves me 50 down a different street. Good thing I know where I live.

    Use:

    Maps.App > cards > problem with...

    They fixed a mistake I reported a few years ago.

    If I type my address in Apple Maps it falls a straight pin through the roof. Even gets the room and my position in this right. It must be lucky, but it's just a little scary...

    The question is because your attempt to locations var is actually a string, not a table that is needed to treat a Geolocation. That's why you get 150 thousand alert messages trying to loop through each element of array and process geolocation, but since your var is a string, it is a loop in the length of the string, which is equivalent to 150 thousand characters. The solution is to build a picture of your DB rather than build a chain. Essentially when you query your DB create an empty array, then when you dynamically loop results from your DB to get the data use the array.push method javascript (or the equivalent php if you treat the results of DB in php) to push loop iteration in a new array element. You must also use a console.log instead of an alert message you don't need to close each message alert and essentially freeze your application being debugged.

    OVER_QUERY_LIMIT is because you're trying to send too many requests of geolocation (see 150 thousand above), who is strangled by Google. So he tries not to geotag a location that already has a location recorded in the comic book, you should be storing the result of geolocation in your database. Also I don't really know why you create a var, try storing in localstorage, then immediately retreiveing data storage local to continue the process of your markers. It seems unnecessary to do so, unless you store in the local storage for another reason. For debugging, the issue of marker, it is best to remove any factor the localstorage useless until make you it work with your markers and then refactor your localstorage logic in the script after that a Lite version works.

  • iPad 6 will link to google maps when off the grid

    My iPad 6 will link to Google Maps when I have wi - fi, cellular and wi - fi Assist turns off? I want to test OK cards before the holidays, and my iPad still seems to allow Google Maps. Thanks for your help.

    Only if you download and cache the maps of the area you will be in advance.  Google maps, as cards of Apple, is a display of live stream for visual mapping data.  But if you're looking for the Gizmodo and others tutorials on how you can cache a limited amount of data Google Maps for offline use.

    Otherwise, you're better off investing in one of the applications offline maps - IE. cards apps that include download (able) full card displays for guidance in offline or navigation.

  • Cannot disable "localization." However, Google Maps opens to my exact location.

    Hi all

    I read in the forum after forum on Google and Mozilla and have tried many steps like turning off "geo-enabled" in all: config, etc.

    Every thing in the settings of Google is set to 'Pause', which I think is also disabled because you can turn them off, but when I go to the site of Google Maps, it always zooms in on my position real and true.

    I tried navigating to another city and then completely close the Firefox browser, but then when I go back to Google Maps, it zooms in to my actual location. How in the heck is Google Maps knows that if the Firefox browser is not it?

    When the page opens, here's what it says in the address bar:
    https://www.Google.com/maps/@33.XXXXXXX,-86.xxxxxxx, 12z

    with the x being the rest of my exact location of lat/long. As I said, where is this latitude/longitude information from otherwise the browser?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    As always,.
    Hugh

    .

    If geolocation is not used, then Web sites can do a reverse DNS glance upward from your IP address and is generally not very accurate.

    Firefox will always ask for permission before using the geolocation.

    You can use websites like these to see how your location is indicated by a reverse search DNS of your IP address:

  • How to create a bookmark for a Google spreadsheet?

    I want to create a link to a Google spreadsheet (spread) I have on my toolbar. I have frequent access to this worksheet and you want to just post a link to the page. When I right click on the page, it does nothing. I know that I did it before, even if I don't know how. I have a workaround, but it is tedious and it is something that is not unusual for me as the common spreadsheet, I use changes.

    Any ideas?

    When you have the Google map you open expected to be able to create a bookmark as you would with any other page.

    • Open the Google spreadsheet
    • Click on the bookmark Star button. This will create the bookmark.
    • Click on the bookmark Star button again and you can place the bookmark where you want (IE. Bookmarks bar) by clicking the drop-down folder list.

    Now you should be able to click this bookmark and go right to the Google map. The bandages below will give you a Visual to follow. Hope that helps.

    Anyone know?

    Thanks in advance.

    Update:

    I discovered how do now after messing around with it. You start browsing the location of registration via Google Maps on your phone first , and then the watch will be kick and show step by step instructions. This feature does not work via 'google Ok' on the watch.

    Hope this will help someone in need.

    And thank you all.

    How do you delete a location that has been saved in Google Maps?

    That looks like it would clear all your cards, not a single location next to one of your cards...
