How to load songs to iTunes game with my old ipod nano

I agree with iTunes game.  Access iTunes Match successfully on my iPad Air and iPhone 5 s. I have an iPod Nano 16 Gb model number A1285 and I don't know how to transfer songs to this device to listen offline on my boat. My Mac is a Macbook Pro retina 2014 model.

Hello

Sync your nano with usb cable to your computer as you did previously before iTunes game. The music must be physical in your iTunes library. It syncs music in the cloud.

    1. right click on the song in iTunes and select the option that says SHOW IN WINDOWS EXPLORER

  • If I subscribe to iTunes game with duplicates in my library, will I have duplicates in my iCloud library?

If I subscribe to iTunes game with duplicates in my itunes music library, will I have duplicates in my iCloud library?

    Hello

ITunes game scans your library to determine what is coupled, downloaded, purchased in double or ineligible. It will not automatically de-dup your library, but if you have the same song twice in the same album, the second song will probably have a status Icloud "duplicate". However, same song on different albums could be mapped or downloaded.

  • iTunes game, with tracks and local tracks on iTunes

    Hello

I turned off my game subscription itunes and it will expire in a few days. I'm sure I know the answer to my question, but it did not hurt to double check. I have a central itunes library, when iTunes is initially came out, I was able to improve the quality of many of my pieces of 128 (which was considered of good quality for the original iPod). It means I have many other corresponding titles. I almost never listen to music outside of my home and use an old ipod nano for music on the go. So I do not use the cloud to itunes. I re-read the email from apple and I'm right, that the relevant securities shall not perish from my library, they just won't be available to download on my iphone/ipad. I can always sync them by wifi or cable if I want.

I want to check that not all of a sudden the music in my library could disappear...

Thank you for calming my nerves (and yes I'm 99% sure, but who can nag 1%)

    Kind regards

    Philly

As far as I know, the music libraries will remain intact. The only thing that will change for you is that you will have to synchronize the music libraries manually (whether it is via WiFi or cable).

  • Is it possible to load the CD (that I put on iTunes years ago) on an iPod Nano to iTunes 9.0.3 (15) on an old MacBook? This is my last chance, as the later versions of iTunes have deleted all this precious music, so I can't be wrong!

Is it possible to load the CD (that I put on iTunes years ago) on an iPod Nano to iTunes 9.0.3 (15) on an old MacBook (OS 10.5.8)? This is my last chance, as the later versions of iTunes have deleted all this precious music, so I can't be wrong!

It is unclear what you are asking, but if the question is (retired), the can transfer songs that are on an iPod nano (and nowhere else) to my current computer?

You cannot use iTunes.  By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from your computer to the iPod.  The exception is purchased songs on the iTunes Store, iTunes can verify ownership of these songs (command in the menu bar iTunes -> devices-> transfer purchases of [name of the iPod] file).  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'the ipod transfer', you should get a few links, including a CNET article.

Once the files of the song on your disc, you can add them to your current iTunes library.

  • How can I synchronize an old iPod nano to another mac that it has been implemented on?

My father has an old iPod nano but it is worried, it may be seeing its last days. It has set up with the original computer no longer works, so he wants to save it on my computer. We share the same account iTunes, but none of his music has never been on my computer since I logged in. also, I had to change the email and our apple ID password because the original is no longer an email existed. I said he could use my old iPod touch (backup restore) that might be more reliable, but I do not know how to back up his iPod nano without erasing any data.

iTunes synchronization is generally one-way, from computer to iPod.  If the songs were purchased from the iTunes Store, and your ID shared Apple was used to buy, you can download them again (at no cost) from the screen purchase ; on the main screen of the iTunes Store, the link to the screen bought is along the right side of the window.  There is also a command in iTunes to transfer items purchased - menu bar->-> appliances-> transfer purchases of [name of the iPod] file.

Otherwise, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something as 'ipod transfer music', you should get a few useful links, including a CNET article on the subject.

Once the files of the song on the drive of your Mac, add them to your iTunes library.

  • Cancellation of Apple's music has grayed out some songs from iTunes game

    Background:

    • I use iTunes game.
    • All the songs in my library have been downloaded by me.
    • I tried Apple's music for a while and then cancelled.

    Question:

    • Some of the songs that I downloaded in my subscription of Apple's music are now gray out and unable to be played.
    • On the iPhone (and previously on my Mac) I wonder to renew my subscription to Apple's music when I try to read them.
    • It seems that iTunes thinks that these are songs from Apple's music, when they certainly are iTunes songs Match (most of the songs is not yet on Apple music).

    Attempted fixes:

    • I tried all kinds of re - authorize etc and nothing works.
    • I talked at length to Apple on the phone who now asked me to install OS X (which I'm hated to do that I don't see it being a problem of BONE).

How can I return these songs? Is this a known bug?

Okay, that was user error. The songs were incorrectly uploaded from another computer!

  • Can't access iTunes purchases with an old .mac account

    Hi all

I used to have a .mac account in the old days and I bought a number of songs on iTunes using this account. When they turned off the .mac addresses I've migrated to the new system (which I am using to write this post). I just tried to play one of these old tunes, and he said that I was not allowed to play. So I tried to enter the address of .mac using the iCloud and he says that the account has been locked and he would send me an e-mail. The only valid option seems to be the old .mac email address.

Is it possible to access the email message that they (probably) was sent on the old .mac email address?

The end of the game is to get into this account and re - authorize all my songs to my new account, but the first step is to get there in the first place.

@mac.com addresses have not stopped. I use mine to this day. @mac.com, @me.com and @icloud.com al e-mails, end up in your mailbox to the current iCloud email account.

What I suspect is happening in your case, is that you've changed, or rather, add a new account Apple ID. For load of reflow or authorize your purchases made with the former Apple ID, you need to log in iTunes Store using this code from Apple.

To check which was Apple ID used for the purchase of any article, read the file (cmd + I) information.

    I have the following environment:

    Win XP SP3 (32 bit)

    iPod Nano A1320 16 GB (5th generation)

An iPod has been detected, but it could not be identified properly.

Please disconnect and reconnect the iPod and try again.

If the problem persists, uninstall iTunes and then reinstall iTunes.

I tried my other iPod Nano A1320 16 GB (5th generation), and it gives the same error.

I looked at other similar positions with this error message and tried their solutions, but none of them does not seem to work.

Listen to songs in iTunes itself on my computer. I would definitely say no songs are in their "native" to iTunes format, since I had to download from youtube and convert them to iTunes, but they're there and playeable, so I'm expecting to be transferred.

Is this a known problem and how would I fix it? Thank you!

I would definitely say no songs are in their "native" to iTunes format, since I had to download from youtube and convert to iTunes

All the songs that do not synchronize these converts are songs?  That do sync the two aren't these songs converted?

In iTunes, see list of reading, do a right click on one of these songs that are not in sync, and then read the information.  In the info window, go to the file tab.  That said it for the type and bitrate?

In addition, the file Info tab, find location.  She gives a file path to the location of the song on your disk file, or should I say iCloud?  If she says iCloud, the song is not stored locally, so it does not sync.  And since these are not purchased songs from iTunes Store, IF they are only in iCloud, they must be in your music to iCloud library.  If would be important to know if yourmusic to iCloud library emanates a subscription to Match iTunes or Apple's music.

I regret to have updated my iTunes to 12 points, today no matter what. I used to just uncheck a song for the have deleted from my camera when synchronized, but still in my library iTunes for possible later use. Please, please tell me that the feature is still there somehow.

After the update, what I see is the songs with checks by them, and that's all rather grey... No matter how much I click the checkmarks, they remain the same, checked. It seems no more unchecking.

Read the help, it seems to say that you can uncheck the songs. However, it is very vague, and it does not work. By clicking the checkmark does nothing.

I have a lot of music on iTunes, which was bought with old apple ID that are no longer valid. The music was allowed to play on my current computer until I recently updated the software. I am now struggling to re - authorize this music on my machine as the old apple id/email is no longer valid. All solutions?

Use the iTunes menu' to go to the store > authorize this computer.

Enter the old Apple ID and password.

Repeat for each Apple ID that you want to allow on this computer.

Allows up to five computers by Apple ID.

You say that the old Apple ID are no longer valid.  If set to true, you no longer have everything that was purchased using these identifiers.
