  I thought I posted this question this morning but I do not see in the forum so I post again.  I apologize if it appears twice.

  For example, let's say I have a 40 page document that I need someone to sign. I spend 15 minutes to add all the fields 'Sign up here' and 'initial here' to the document Echosign.

  Then I send the document for signature.

  The recipient says, "looks like you missed a place where I initials on the document."

  It seems that the only way I know how to solve this problem now is:

  1. the vacuum in the active document

  2 re - import the PDF from my computer into Echosign

  3 spend another 15 minutes inserting all the 'initial here' and 'sign here' fields.

  4 re - send the document so that it can sign

  There must be a better way, right?  DocuSign says they have the ability of the sender of the document make a correction to an existing document and re-send-the-outside, and there is also a capacity of the signatory make corrections to the document (which should be signed by any other signatories later)

  I don't think that there is a quick answer to this question.

  An option to help you is to determine the actual size of the font that you use and do you manage screen objects on this basis.

  In addition, you can use relative positions for page layout.  And you must factor into the question about whether you're on a touchscreen device (and thus make easier to hit fields).

  But really if you do not want to create a specific format for each form factor, you must compromise and try to design a screen that works well on all devices.  This will depend on the screen, so there is not one right answer.

• How do I 'batch' closing of a large number of virtual machines on a single order?

  We have performance issues with some programs that a large number of machines virtual shutdown.  Steve Jin here mentions on his blog that there is a number of API and batch processing.  I can't find on the subject if and would just like to send a command to stop, a large number of virtual machines.  Multi-threading applications for judgment has not been effective or possible.

  If someone could point me to the right direction, I would be grateful.   Thank you!

  I'm not familiar with batch API too many orders, but I'm guessing that you're referring to:

  Turning the power on

  • Single - PowerOnVM_Task

  • Multi - PowerOnMultiVM_Task

  Power off

  • Single - PowerOffVM_Task

  • Multi - as far as I know, no

  As you probably know, there are a lot of API command to power on a set of virtual machines, but there is not one to turn off. It maybe an internal/private API to power off the coast, but I have not heard/seen it.

  If your question is around Steve Jin VI Java API, maybe hit him up on top of this blog, you probably a more precise answer and if this isn't the case, I think he'll be able to help directly as well.

• How to make a clip to close a number of times in Flash?

  Does anyone know how to get a clip to a certain number of times in Flash in a loop? I know how to stop a clip of looping using the this.stop (); order by placing the command in a separate layer from the Action Script, in a keyframe within the video clip timeline. This allows the clip to play through both, and then stop. But I need to clip loop more than once, maybe 2 or 3 times and then go back to the main timeline. Anyone know the code for this?

  Also, is it possible to place a break (I'm guessing, perhaps using a timer of some kind?) between the loops, so that the film is going to pause a few seconds before the loop is executed again, then stop? Please note that I must not the clip to stop when there's an event like a reversal or whatever it is. I just need to play a couple of times, pause between pieces and then stop and return to the main timeline. Please let me know if anyone can help.

  There are different ways to do... the simplest is probably to put a bit of code directly in the scenario of your clip. Assuming that your frame 1 is a 'pause' with a stop() in there, you can add the following text:

  var loopCounter:int = 0;

  Stop();

  Then in the last frame of the clip:

  loopCounter ++;

  if(loopCounter == 3) {}

  dispatchEvent (new Event ("clipDoneLooping"));

  gotoAndStop (1);

  } else {}

  gotoAndPlay (2);

  }

  So in your main time line you have a condition that tells the clip to play with a gotoAndPlay (2); If you need to know the video has looped three times and has finished you can listen to the clipDoneLooping to ship.

  myClip.addEventListener ("clipDoneLooping", doSomething);

  And will be called the doSomething function.

  To place a pause between loops, you can use a timer object. Instead of the gotoAndPlay (2) conditional above, you should just start a timer.

  Ah, another essential piece of information - the camera is a camera of Thorlabs (you don't mention the model) and (probably) use their LabVIEW drivers.  One of the first functions Thorlabs tell you is 'table to Vision", which transformed their Image (owner) format, a table 1 d, table of pixels more intuitive LabVIEW 2D, allowing you to (if you choose) to use the IMAQ functions to process your images.  I dare say, you will find several readers of the Forum know IMAQ faced by Thorlab functions.

  Bob... well, it's just that when I contemplated the palette table for the first time, the tool "insert into array" seems to be exactly what I need... (and no, it's not a 'reversal of the table"somewhere more later... :-)

  When you try to create a 2D array by adding a 1 d array at the beginning or at the end of a 2D existing (even if it is empty) array, the much-more-natural-and-intuitive-function-to-use is 'Building the table' (Hey, he still sounds logical).  And, as a bonus, when wire you the table 1 d in there, you can Choose in a 'natural' function to build the table in 'normal' order or 'inverse '.

  While making a plugin for the latest versions here routine check, I received the message that a newer version of the Microsoft Silverlight plugin is available from Microsoft. When I tried to download the Microsoft installation executable, download managed to lock up Firefox whenever I tried it (about 5 times or more)-in the process, the file to automatically download gave me has been identified as a 64 bit executable, despite the fact that Firefox 8.0.1 is a 32-bit application (I have the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Professional). At this point, I don't know what version of the plugin most recent that I need, or how to get it. Help!

  I have a pdf file that is a lot of pages. I'm attaching to add pages in the file, but no matter how many more files are that I add, they appear much narrower and shorter than the pages that exist already. I want the new files I add to match the rest of the files in the document.

  Pages in a PDF document have a physical size such as 8.5 "x 11". When you add pages that are a different size, they keep this size when adding. There is not a feature in Acrobat that dimensionnera pages upwards or downwards for a specific size.

  Firefox zoom feature will probably help. Font size and zoom - increase the size of the web pages.

  There are at least two Add-ons that allow you to zoom the pages together at a default level such as 150%.

  • Default FullZoom Level
  • NoSquint

  For example, after the installation of NoSquint, click % on the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click on the global settings button, then the zoom tab.

  (If you do not have the Add - one bar is displayed, you can click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.)

  AFAIK, you apply hotfix on the node of your DMZ so if your apply the patches on your base application nodes.

  I put this site up to 9 years in a frameset - one for the navigation bar and one for the page to display.  Used to be that every browser would load the homepage when you eintered the URL of the site (www.madmoose.com), but when you clicked on a specific search engine result or if you typed in a specific page (E.g. "www.madmoose.com/apparel.html"), you would have to directly to this page.  Now, using new browsers it STILL load the home page.

  What would be the way easiest to re configure the site to do not always force in the homepage?

  Put the navigation bar on each page is a possibility as an 'include' is a GoLive "component".

  If you still feel the need to use images, you can continue to use the action you just delete if you had pointed to distinctive frames. The executives only game that you pointed out was the homepage.

• How to make floating text at the bottom of the image that is 100% screen

  My jpg image works perfectly 100% if she grows as widens the window of the browser.

  But the text that I placed just below the image doesn't move, therefore, as increases the size of the image. The text remains in the same place regardless of the size of the browser window. So I have to have a large space below the image so that the image will not cover the text as the image grows. How can I make the text stay directly below the image at 100%, as it develops?   You can use image fill or fill browser page and place the block of text as a width of 100%, where the two must be resized according to the size of the browser.

  The text will not move to different positions on the page but probably will resize itself.

  I have a CSS image gallery that displays a larger picture with descriptive text underneath, a thumbnail image is hovered over.

  Each photo has code like the following:

  The second source is an image stored at 600 x 400.

  When the thunbnail is hovered on, enlarge the photo is displayed to its size using css.

  There are 20 or if thumbnails in this gallery and different numbers in the other galleries that use the same code.

  The above example is number 19 of 20.

  This works very well on tablets and large screens.

  When I want to show it on an Iphone or similar, with a screen that is 480 or less wide, I need to enlarge it up to 300 large scale.

  The Iphone will have a lower quality of the image to a larger screen, it won't matter too much if photography 600 x 400 is reduced, and after having tried giving him an ID with CSS as

  #imagescale {width: 300px ;} seems acceptable.} However, as the ID is supposed to be unique, then it's a no go area for the remaining photos.

  My problem is how can I select the second source of the image shown in bold above and scale it and reach of 50% text.

  The text is not too important because it can be modified to fit - the image is the main problem.

  I need something like "If the display is less than 600 and the image is located in the directory of photos, it shows 300 offshore."

  I hope that the browser will take care of the height.

  I need your suggestions regarding the prevention of the labour dispute with two PC on same vi. I built a program and there a lot of subvis and I work with 2 PCs. When I detects an error on a Subvi or something else, that I have to change things subvis and releated on the same PC by transferring all subvis records and live by USB key. Sometimes, this causes an error. for example, I could delete some subvis unconsciously. I've read about labview project and libraries, but documents are not explanatory. I want to collect all my vis and subvis in a project or folder. but I don't really know how to do it. And also I want to change subvis or live in this folder, whenever I want. How can I handle this?   Create a new empty project, save it neer your main VI then the main VI for the project. The project automatically finds all the dependencies of your main VI (subVIs, CTL, etc...), in the windows project, you have a tab "Files", from there, you have a tree that shows you where are all the dependencies of your project. This is really useful.

  If you go back to the tab 'Éléments' and create a new generation sepcification (right-click on the icon), and then choose "new > Distribution Source" you can set an "export" which will include all you the source code.
