• How to make buttons not working set MovieClip in flash?

  I'm doing an index page with buttons for a photography website.  the entire page is built in flash to date.  My question is that I created a drop down menu which is a Movieclip with 5 buttons.  I can't assign an external web page to each buttons located under the film clip menu drop-down.   Is this possible?   The clip is managed by hover your mouse over the 'studio Gallery' button in word.  It descends from the 5 gallerbuttons (Portrait, children, weddings, babies, artistic, etc...).  In Flash 8 Pro I know I can assign a child named external web page on the homepage, but how can I assign these to buttons in the drop down when the movieclip is done.  That's where I need to use folders with additional layers in the file to make it work?

  I can't clearly tell from your description, up to now, but it looks like your movieclip contains buttons and a bearing is assigned to it.  This rollover crashes interacting with the buttons.  So your best bet is to get your hands on a tutorial that will guide you through the process so that you can make your buttons work as you wish.

  I wonder how to get the sound and video keys (as well as the ' Moon') to do something on my new XPS 8700 machine.  Currently, they seem to be ineffective.

• Windows Easy Transfer refuses to start. How can make us it work?

  The old laptop of my son is a Windows 7 laptop. He recently bought a new laptop for Windows 8.1, and naturally he would like all its data, etc. migrate to the new machine. So naturally he's trying to use Windows Easy Transfer, but it does nothing for him. Whenever he tries to run it, it gets this error:

  There is no other errors than that. He tried to launch Windows Easy Transfer normally and as an administrator; always had this error.

  He tried to connect in safe mode, but he refused to run Windows Easy Transfer at all.

  We have grown to a prompt as an administrator and run SFC/scannow, but it is no problem at all. All is well for what is Windows 7, Windows Easy Transfer should work. But he is not and refuses to start.

  We even chose to return to a previous restore point, but who does not work either.

  Since all this can't work, how in hell are OK, we supposed to get Windows Easy Transfer to work on this old machine Windows 7 when it will not be under all the circumstances I've specified here, work?

  Storage event.target.selectedItem in an object should no longer be effective as calling event.target.selectedItem. The object will simply be a pointer of sorts of event.target.selectedItem. At no time in the call to event.target.selectedItem you doing a search, or something, in order to store the result will not result in big savings.

  Now, if you were doing something like array.findItem (something) 4 times, then Yes, it would be to your advantage to store data.

  Do not forget that event.target.selectedItem storage in an object will break no doubt... the links that may or may not be a problem. Object does not support binding. It is a subclass of the object that does, but I can't remember who.

  Just a suggestion based on my knowledge of how the data is stored in an object-oriented... language is perhaps not the case in flex.

  You will need to contact Norton on their plans for support to Firefox 4. It is quite common for businesses don't support a new version of a browser after that that it has been officially released, and it is not supported for the candidate/beta phase.

  If the top layer is supposed to be the interpolation of images, then you do not have it as a separate movieclip.  Everything about this timeline that you showed is on the same timeline.  Try to copy the images of this layer (select, click right, choose copy the images), then create a new symbol (inserting, new symbol Movieclip) movieclip, then right click on the first image scenario of this new movieclip and select Paste images.  You now have a movieclip separated from the image layer that you can place on other timeline instead of what's there now... it should look like the background layer when you planted it in this main scenario.

  I think you're talking about the LAN port and connection to the local network.
  I have no idea of what you want to do, but if you want to connect the laptop to the internet, then you must use a router/modem. The laptop must be connected to the router that is configured previously.
